Nobody's point of view
"Daryl you don't need to take a squirrel,"
"But I do Michonne. We might get hungry on the trip." Daryl swung the two squirrels onto his shoulder.

"You two got the bomb?" Rick asked, checking through the bags.
"Yep, that one," Michonne said pointing to a small yellow backpack.
Rick opened it up and held the bomb in his hand,
"You're a genius you know that Michonne?" Rick laughed,
"I do, I do know that." Michonne giggled doing an aggressive hair flip.

"I'm gonna miss y'all, please be careful Michonne." Andrea said running up and hugging her, "You're going the furthest distance."
"I know but we'll be fine, " Michonne smiled.

Everyone else was getting ready for their trip, Pedro was sunbathing. It was a nice day so oh well.

"I'm just gonna go and make sure my son is ready to go to his location then we can leave, " Rick said rushing over to where they were standing.
"You all set?"
"Yeah we are, thanks dad, " Carl said sitting up and hugging him,
"Okay just make sure your careful, your lucky I'm not making you come with me."
"And your lucky your not coming with me, " Hershel said to Fleur crossing his arms.
"Dad, Hershel seriously we're fine. We have a plan, " said Carl,
"You do? Well, that's great then, I'll see you tonight when you get back, " Rick and Hershel walked away.

"What plan?" Fleur whispered,
"Just don't tell our dads, but we don't have a plan, " Carl laughed.

Michonnes point of view
"So we going?" I asked the boys and they nodded.
We loaded the cars with our bags and stuff we would need, making sure we DEFINATELY didn't forget the yellow backpack with the bomb.

The bomb I had made was a remote one, so it would only set off when and if I pressed the red button on the small black remote I put together.

The drive was long and tiring, it went on for approximately five hours.
We mostly talked about life before the apocalypse, that's what we usually did when we were bored.
That way we would remember our privileged life when we didn't have to fight daily for what we had.

"I just feel sorry for the kids that have to grow up like this, " Rick said from the steering wheel, "One day in a long time, my boy might not remember his moma anymore. That saddens me."
"Oh I'm sure he'll never forget Lori, he and his mum were inseparable when you were in your coma," Daryl reassured him.

As Daryl and Rick were discussing how awful life would be for Carl, Judith, Fleur, Tom, Andy, Isla, Katelyn and Pedro growing up... I couldn't stop thinking about mine.

My baby boy.

The sweet baby boy that I lost right at the beginning.
I remember it as clear as day.

The first news reports had just been sent out, about these creatures that were devastating whole towns and killing cities full of people. When the first heard of walkers got to Atlanta, me and my boyfriend decided to take our baby boy and flee the city straight away.
We drove to the airport, hoping to get to a safe country- one that wasn't infected at all yet.

But when we got there we realised a whole lot of people had the same idea as us.
The airport was crawling with people like us trying to escape the country.

We waited there for hours, trying to get just three tickets on any plane. Then hours turned into days, and days turned into weeks. We were pretty much camping at the airport.

One day the airport food ran out, and people started going out to shops to get some.
But more people would leave.
And fewer people would return.

From the airport windows, we saw the streets full of walkers, it was no wonder people weren't coming back. We in the airport were starving, I knew someone had to leave. So I did the bravest thing I could've possibly done. I said goodbye to my baby and my boyfriend, took my katana and ventured out to find food.

It was hard at first because I didn't know how to kill them. But once I'd figured out that it was the head I was moving quickly and soon enough I was at a superstore.

I packed two huge bags full of food and made my way back.

I heard screaming.

Just terror and screaming.

As I got closer to the airport I realised something... that the gates were down and walkers had got in.

It was hopeless what I did, but I did it anyway. I went inside to try and find my family. But when I had finally found them it was too late.

And that's what broke me.

Ricks point of view
"Michonne?" I shook her sleeping body, "Michonne we're here."
She stirred at first and then her eyes opened,
"C'mon sleeping beauty, we need your help blowing a hole in this wall, " Daryl laughed.

Michonne got up rubbing her eyes, then she lifted the remote from her pocket.
"Go put the bomb next to the wall and then run back here quickly, " she instructed to me.

I grabbed the bomb from the yellow bag and sprinted over to rest it next to the shop wall.
When it was planted I quickly ran back to where Daryl and Michonne were standing.

"Sorry Gramsby's Gun Store, " she said with her hand on the button, "You boys ready?"
Me and Daryl put out hands on our ears like children as she pressed the red button.

The explosion was way bigger than what I think any of us expected. It flashed a bright neon orange and produced a huge puff of black smoke.

When the smoke cleared we all inspected the wall,
"Damn Michonne, you do know how to make guns." Daryl laughed peeping into the hole.
"Are there a lot in there?" I asked,
"Oh yeah, shit loads."
