Katelyn's point of view
After I had taken a shower we all met on the bottom floor.
We'd got a lot of sleep, at least six hours, and now we were all in a good enough mood to get back on the road again.

I quickly went upstairs to pack away all my stuff, then I waited for Tom. Once he was finished we headed outside, loaded up the car, and started the journey.

We were heading west on the main road.

Most of the day was boring, just silence apart from the sound of the engine and walker groans every time we drove past one.
Maggie wasn't doing well, in fact she was doing terrible. At least me and Tom had each other, but Maggie had lost her father and she had no idea where her boyfriend or sister were.

She sat staring out the window hopelessly for most of the ride, until Sasha decided to enlighten the mood and put a tape on.
Most of the tape was WILLOW and John Lennon which was okay, but soon they had listened to every song at least twice and they got bored.
"Try the radio," Tom suggested,
"Why? Its not like theres any Justin Beiber or Ariana Grande anymore," Sasha answered,
"You don't know that, but anyways just try it I'm interested,"
"Okay fine," Sasha clicked the radio button without any hesitation and then looked back at the road in front.
There was no sound other than a faint buzz that indicated whatever radio station it was, now was long gone.

"Told you," Sasha sighed, "No more singers in the apocalypse,"
"Okay," Tom said in defeat, "You can turn it off then."
Sasha was about to, but first she flicked through other stations, listening for anything other than the buzzing and high pitched squeals of the speaker.
"Stop!" Tom said jolting up from his seat, "STOP!"
Sasha was surprised and quickly paused the radio,
"What? God damn it I almost crashed!"
"I heard someone, someone's voice talking on one of the radio channels!"
"What really?" Katelyn said, half-asleep,
"Yeah! Flick through again," Tom said hurriedly,
"Okay okay," Sasha begun switching channels hastily until she paused on the one Tom was talking about, a lady was talking.
"Everybody shush," Katelyn said concentrating on the voice and what she was saying.

The radio lady
"Incoming from Terminus, I repeat, incoming from Terminus. We are broadcasting amazing news from survivors near and far, we have a sanctuary, hidden away, with walls so high you wont ever have to worry about seeing a walker again. We have crops, running water and don't worry- we have guards.
Situated in Georgia, a small town called Senoia.
Follow the main road then drive off to a railway, kinda hidden away by bushes and vegetation but still visible. Follow that railway until you see our sign, then you know you are less than two miles away. We hope you find us and help us to rebuild this world together!
And if you missed any of this broadcast don't fret, we will and have been repeating it every day at the same time, see you soon! -Terminus"

End of broadcast/Back in car/Nobody's point of view
"No.... fucking.... way...." Maggie whispered, her jaw looking like it was going to hit the floor,
"I can't believe it," Katelyn screeched with a huge smile, "Do you think the others heard the broadcast?"
"I hope so, but I think its very unlikely that they had the same idea as us, nobody checks the radio," Tom sighed. This turned Katelyn's smile into a frown.
"But if they are heading the same way as us there might be a chance they find the railway right?" she asked hopefully,
"I damn hope so, we are a clever group, don't worry," Sasha grinned, "So Terminus here we come?!?!"
"Terminus here we come!!!" Katelyn said wrapping Tom in a hug, but he didn't look too satisfied.

"What's your problem?" Tom said slowly pushing her off,
"What do you mea-"
"Your all acting like we aren't completely screwed, why are you lying to Katelyn? Theres no chance in hell we are ever going to see our group again!"
Everyone paused awkwardly, why was he being so negative? This was the last thing anyone needed, especially poor Maggie.

"Tom what the fuck? Lighten up a bit this is amazing news," Sasha rolled her eyes,
"Yes its amazing news- for us! The rest of our group probably didn't hear that and most likely never will, unless by some huge miracle they stumble across the sign or railway by accident, we will never see them again!!!"

A tear rolled down Katelyn's cheek, and Maggie started weeping into her hands.
"Look what you've done!" Sasha shouted.
Tom looked sad but not sorry. What he said could be true, and it was probably the most realistic way of thinking, but that doesn't mean what he said was right.

"Stop the car," Maggie sniffled,
"What?" Sasha asked confused,
"I said stop the car Sasha!"
"Okay okay..." she slammed on the breaks and Maggie flung open the car door, rushing outside and immediately throwing up at the side of the road.
"Omg Maggie are you okay?" Katelyn said running up to her and rubbing her back,
"Im fine," Maggie brushed it off, taking out a tissue and wiping away all the tears and sweat from her face.
"Your not fine, do you feel unwell?" she asked,
"Sorta... but seriously its okay lets just keep moving."
Maggie started to walk back to the car but Katelyn gently stopped her,
"Are you worried that you wont see Glenn again? Or Fleur? Cuz if you are then you aren't alone, we're here for you," Katelyn reassured,
"Yeah it definitely sounded like Tom was there for me just then," Maggie rolled her eyes,
"He's just agitated, he's worried he'll never see Andy and Carl again you know? We're all worried about loosing someone, but we've gotta keep fighting."
Maggie nodded and turned back to the car, getting in with ease, ignoring the glare of Sasha and Toms eyes burning into her skin.

Then they were on the road again, but this time they had a destination, and Sasha at least was excited.

Toms point of view
I couldn't believe we were just going straight to Terminus, not even waiting for a single sign of our friends. We were probably going to have a luxurious life now, and the rest of the group would never find us. How was Maggie okay with it? Well she can't've been okay with it by the way she threw up at the side of the road, but she didn't go against it?

Im just so pissed off.

"Tom c'mon, loosen up, everything will turn out good," Katelyn said looking at ms with puppy eyes,
"Shut up," I grumbled, it sounding meaner than I intended,
"Did you just tell me to shut up? Oh my god what is wrong with you!"
"Yeah I did, so do it, theres nothing wrong with me- theres something wrong with you,"
I don't know why I was arguing, I didn't want to really, but the words were spilling out.

Then thats when she said it,
"I hate you," Katelyn spat, filled with rage,
"W-what?" I stuttered,
"I hate you, I hate you for treating me bad, I hate you for lowering everyones mood, I hate you for wasting my time. I hate you."
She said this as tears streamed down her cheeks, she tried to hide them by wiping them as they fell, but this didn't work.
A tear fell down my cheek too, I was so shocked and confused, and I realised now how wrong I had been about everything.

"Katelyn... I- Im sorry, I don't hate you, I love you, I'm just in a bad mood,"
"Well your always in a bad mood Tom, and cant you see how its affecting everyone?"
I paused, looking back and fourth between her, Maggie and Sasha. Sasha looked fine, she was't getting involved and she had her eyes on the road biting her lip at our arguing.
Maggie looked pale, her eyes were red and puffy from crying.
Katelyn looked devastated, heartbroken, how could I do this?

"Im sorry Kate-"
"We aren't together anymore."
"Please," I begged choking on my tears,
"No. Its not working." She broke her eyes from me and faced the window again, ignoring my pleads and apologies. Eventually I gave up.
Then everything was silent.
Until I heard a faint noise from the seat next to me, it was Katelyn. The sound sounded like a small trumpet, and I immediately realised what had happened.

Katelyn had broken wind.

"OH MY GOD WHO DID THAT IT STINKS," Sasha said almost crashing the car and holding her noise. I gagged and buried my face on Maggies shoulder to block the smell. Suddenly I was slightly happy we broke up.
