Annie's POV

I stood on the sidewalk looking at my apartment. I'm extremely scared right now. He's probably inside my house right now waiting for me to enter & attack me. I pulled out Tyrone's gun, i've kept it for a good while. I don't know when he's going to wake up but when he goes. We're going to get the fuck out of here. We're gonna no longer stay here.

I walked towards my front porch with my keys in one hand & gun in the other. I unlocked the door & opened it. The pitch blackness made the mood scarier. I took a deep breath, get a hold of yourself. You have protection, you can do this. I walked inside closing the door behind me. I turned the light on. Nothing, I walked towards my bedroom gripping on the cold metal.

I turned on my bedroom light. A bright blue dress sits perfectly on my bed. I touched the soft fabric that was laid out. Silky & smooth like a baby's bottom. I picked it up to examine it, there's no strange powder on it. I don't see no device or speaker. I guess its a ordinary dress. I stripped out of my clothes & slipped on the dress.

I stood in front of the mirror staring at myself. I look like a famous 60's actress. This dress is probably expensive. For a criminal, he got taste.

"It looks beautiful on you."

Instead of freaking out, I stood still

Instead of freaking out, I stood still. He stood behind me looking at my reflection in the mirror. He wasn't wearing the blue suit today. He was wearing a black suit, it made him look less intimidating. His loose curls hung in front of his face making him look attractive. Why am I thinking this way?

"What do you want from me?"

"I'm here to give you an offer" he said straight to the point.

"What kind?"

"Marry me, I want you to be my wife" he said.

"Your wife, why?"

"Because I need a strong beautiful woman like you. The day I saw you I couldn't get you out of my head" he said.

"Is that why you knocked me out unconscious that night?" I faced him. He had a sad expression on his face.

"Forgive me for that, although it is my duty to keep my street perfect. No trespassing allow" he said.

"Why should I marry you?"

"The street is getting weaker everyday. Although I do have the power in the world, I can't no longer save it. I need someone by my side to help me " he confessed.

"And you chose me?"

"Yes, are you with me?" He said.

"I'm not the woman you want, Michael."

He frowned "how do you know my name?"

"Your sister, janet. On the night i was kidnapped, she saved me. She told me your name & your status with her."

He rolled his eyes "very well, I suppose you know the truth about me."

"What do you mean?"

"That i'm a serial killer" he said.

"She didn't tell me that." I smirked knowing he just snitched on himself.

He sighed "I know you heard the stories about me."

I played the design that was on my dress "one or two."

"If you marry me, I can give you all the power you want. Or I can get you all the diamonds & pearls you want. Together, we'll be unstoppable. We can possibly rule the world" he pride.

"Rule the world?"

"Yes, my dear" he walked towards me "together."

"I don't know."

"Can you at least think about it?" He asked.

I sighed "yes."

"Thank you" he leaned down & placed a cold kiss on my cheek. Then, he disappeared.

Power? Diamonds & pearls? That sounds amazing but yet too much. I've always wanted to have power but use it for good. Not in evil use & marrying him? That's something I don't want to do. Marrying a serial killer isn't a good look for me. I heard the front door opened.

I walked down the hallway to see my sister glaring at me.

"Where have you been?"

"I've been busy" I scoffed

"I've been busy" I scoffed.

"Every time I come here, your not here" Mary whined.

"So?"

"So, what the fuck are you doing?" She asked.

"Why are you in my business?"

"Excuse me, I'm just looking out for my sister" she said sarcastically.

"I'm perfectly fine."

She sighed "I came down here because I wanted to ask you for the diamonds discount."

"I got laid off, the club is shut down."

"Damn, where am I going to go now?" She said.

"I don't know."

"Y'know, you need a break. How about you come with me to this party i'm hosting?" She asked.

"What kind of party it is?"

"Grown folks party" she said.

"Fine, let me change."

"Keep what you got on! Although it does look fly" she complimented.

"Thanks."
