I looked up from my desk to see Aaliyah staring down at me. How the fuck did she get in? Better yet, how didn't I see her?

"What do you mean?"

"I haven't heard from you in forever. Are you avoiding me?" She asked.

"No, I've been busy."

"What's so important that you can't call back your best friend?" She questioned.

"Tyrone."

"What happened?" She asked.

"He got shot & is now in a coma."

"Oh my god, I didn't know" she said.

"Its cool, he's fine." I couldn't tell her about the man in the blue suit, she'll think I'm crazy.

"No, there's something else bothering you. Tell me!" She said.

I groaned "nothing! Leave me alone, I'm working."

"I thought we were friends. We use to tell each other everything but now we're acting lik strangers. Is it bad?" She pressured.

"If I told you, you wouldn't believe me."

"Try me" she said.

"I was kidnapped by this couple. They took me to an abandoned building & tried to leave me there. Then, this woman came & saved me. She was unique, fast, incredible. Something out of a hero movie."

"What's her name?" She asked.

"Janet Jackson."

She shivered a bit when I stated her name. What is up with people about Janet? Every time I mention her, people get all serious. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, just keep going" she said.

"She returned to my home & disappeared somehow. I went in the refrigerator to eat something until I heard something."

"Heard what?" She questioned.

"A voice, a soft-spoken voice. I turned around & saw" I swallowed the lump "him."

"Him?" She arched an eyebrow.

"The man in the blue suit." I whispered, her eyes grew wide like a cat. She sat down in the chair in front of me, mouth gaped open.

"Are you serious?" She whispered.

"Dead ass serious."

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Positive, the fucking man was wearing a blue suit!"

"I didn't think he was real" she said lowly.

"He is most definitely is real."

"Who else knows about this?" She asked.

"No one expect you." I can't compromise Cameron's identity. She works for him, I assume. But in reality, she probably has a name for herself. People will call her crazy.

"You can't let anyone find out about this" she said.

"Find out about what?" We both stood up to see Roman grinning at us. I rolled my eyes, this nigga.

"Nothing."

"Are you sure? Because y'all conversation seemed pretty interesting" he smirked.

"Our conversation doesn't concern you."

"What was y'all talking about? Huh, the man in the blue suit?" He questioned.

"No, like I said it doesn't concern you."

"You do realize that muthafucka doesn't exist, right? It's a myth, a fairytale that was told from our grandma's. It just somehow spread across the state scaring innocent adults & children. Shitting their pants, pissing on themselves & crap. You two are bunch of jokers, scare of a fake story. You both sound ridiculous talking about it. Crazy asses" he scoffed.

"Are you done, nigga?"

"Get back to work" he gritted before walking back in his office.

I sighed "I hate his ass."

"But then again, he is sexy" she added.

I rolled my eyes "what am I going to do?"

"I think you should move away" she said.

"To where?"

"I don't know somewhere far away from here" she said.

I sighed "this isn't happening."

Her phone vibrated in her pocket "I have to go. Call me tonight."

"Okay."

I sat back down in my chair, a little note fell from my desk. I picked it up.

"My eyes are always watching, I'm everywhere. Don't you ever forget that. I left you a gift at your lovely apartment. I want you to open it tonight for me. Remember, I'm always watching."
