I sighed as I scroll through the paperwork on my desk. All I can think about is last night. The party, 2300 Jackson Street, Tyrone & Anthony. Especially, Anthony & Tyrone. Why would Tyrone leave me alone like that? He knew that street was too dangerous for me but he left me alone anyway. I thought he was a good man but I thought wrong. Some people aren't worth trusting. Well, Anthony isn't bad at all. I actually think Anthony is sweet guy. I mean it was kinda nice of him to take me home. But what was he doing in Club 30 anyway?

RING! RING! RING!

I picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

"In my office now."

He hung up. Here we go again.
I got up & went to this office door. I knocked on the door.

"Come in."

I opened the door & step inside. I closed the door behind me.

"You organized all my appointments?"

"You organized all my appointments?"

"Yes."

"You got my plane ticket for this weekend?"

"Already done."

He got up & walked towards me.

"You look beautiful Annie."

"What do you want Roman?"

"What do you want Roman?"

"I need you."

He slid his hands up my dress. I quickly removed his hands.

"Don't you have a wife for that?"

"Fiance & she's in Washington for a month."

"Too bad."

"Come on just for five minutes."

"Hell no."

"What is up with you?"

"What's up with me? I don't want you & besides your my boss."

"What's wrong with bending the rules a little bit?"

"Goodbye Roman."

I opened the door & walked out. I went back to my desk & got back to my paperwork. Why can't he just leave me alone? I told him that it was a mistake. Some things are best to be left alone.

RING! RING!

I picked up the phone.

"What?"

"Damn you still pissed at me?"

Aaliyah.

"I'm beyond pissed."

"I'm sorry."

"You left me alone at that party & didn't even bother to come find me."

"Look we heard shoots fired & everyone ran. I thought you ran too."

"No, I was with someone."

"Who girl?"

"Like I'm gon' tell you."

"I said I was sorry."

"Fine, his name is Tyrone."

"Y'all fuck?"

"NO."

"Then what y'all did then?"

"We had a normal conversation."

"About fucking."

"No Aaliyah."

"I met a guy at the party too."

"Shocking, who is he?"

"His name is Mitch."

"Interesting."

"He's rich & has his own business."

"Sounds like a scam."

"Its not girl."

"When can I meet this Mitch?"

"When can I meet this Tyrone Guy?"

"You know what, you can meet Anthony."

"You got two dudes? You mackin' bitch?"

I laughed.

"They're both fine & I like one of them."

"Which one?"

"I'll tell you that in two weeks."

"WHAT?"

"Bye Aaliyah."

"Do not hang up the phone."

I hung up the phone & laughed. She's going to be real pissed at me. I didn't tell her what happened to me. I'm not going to tell her yet. I'm still mad about Tyrone leaving me like that but there has to be an explanation to it. I hope he calls me. But I really want Anthony to call. I can't stop thinking about him. I gave two guys my phone number. They think I'm attractive. Well I guess that's my prerogative.
