Third Person POV
The sounds of metal clanging together mixed with grunts and yells were ringing throughout the monastery.
Garmadon had goaded Wu into a sparring match early that morning. No matter how many times Wu told him that he wasn't in the mood, Garmadon kept trying to push him over the edge. It didn't seem to be working at first, but when Garmadon poured a hot cup of tea on his head, that was the last straw.
Wu hopped to his feet, chasing Garmadon all the way to the courtyard, which is where they always would train under the watchful eyes of their father. Garmadon swiftly grabbed two katanas, tossing one of them to Wu.
"I don't expect you to hold back, Brother," Garmadon crowed, swinging his blade around.
"Good." Wu lunged forward, landing his sword on Garmadon's with a mighty crash.
Garmadon grinned, his eyes turning to a glowing red. Wu felt his eyes go wide; what was that?!
Before he could ask if he was okay, Garmadon was sprinting towards him. Wu ducked down, holding his katana in a defensive position. His eyes shut tightly as he felt the weight of Garmadon's blade pressing down atop his. Suddenly, it let up, making Wu peek up at his brother.
"Is that all you've got, Brother?" Garmadon gloated. "Oh, just wait until I tell Misako about how pathetic you are."
Much to Garmadon's surprise, Wu snapped, "No!" as he promptly rose to his feet, pushing Garmadon backward. With a low snarl, Garmadon clutched his sword tightly in his fist.
Wu gasped and shut his eyes, swiping his katana to the side.
While he expected the cold touch of the katana, nothing happened. He opened his eyes to see Garmadon frozen in place with a shocked look on his face.
He watched as Garmadon dropped the blade, turning his attention to his hand, which was now bleeding profusely.
"Ah, Garmadon! I'm sorry, I didn't see where I was-."
"I'm fine."
What?
"What? But I cut you! You aren't fine!" Wu yelled.
"I said, 'I'm fine.' It's just a scratch," Garmadon relaxed his hand, walking off.
Wu looked down at his sword, now dripping with blood, then back up at Garmadon as he entered the building.

Though it was nearly sundown, Wu still couldn't help but worry about Garmadon.
He never dealt with pain all that well. He would either be freaking out about the injury or not aware that he was even injured in the first place.
Since the incident, he had barely seen him out and about like he usually would. Wu decided to go check on him, but when he reached his room, the door was locked. Like anyone would do, Wu began to jump to conclusions.
Maybe he was mad at Wu? No, he didn't act like he was that upset about it at the time. Maybe he decided to go to bed early? It was seven at night, how could anyone go to bed at that time?! Maybe he accidentally locked himself in and didn't realize it?....Perhaps.
Wu softly knocked on the door, just in case he really was sleeping. He put his ear against the door, hearing a bit of rustling around. He knocked again, but a bit louder than before. The rustling stopped almost instantly.
