Third Person POV
As Garmadon was preparing to sit down, Misako was practically vibrating with excitement. Finally, after all of those forsaken speed bumps, she was going to achieve answers!
He sat down, noticing the eager grin on her face, the twinkle in her eyes glittering brightly. He rolled his shoulders, stretching around a little. He could tell that he'd be here for a while.
"So, what did you want to know?" Garmadon asked, hands on his knees, bracing himself for the long list of questions.
Misako inhaled, trying to hold back her excitement. She exhaled sharply and smiled.
"Okay, first question." Garmadon smiled. First question, with many to follow, no doubt. He thought.
"What was it like having four arms?" She grinned as she folded her hands together.
With a chuckle, he replied, "Strange, at first. It....it was quite hard to get used to, but I did, soon enough."
Her grin turned into a big toothy smile. She scooted closer to him.
"It was hard to stay with the ninja, that one time, and feel comfortable," He continued. "Especially when I was reunited with Lloyd. Ha, it was the second thing he pointed out."
Misako couldn't help but let a laugh slip out. "Okay, um, there's a few other things I want to ask you."
Oh, boy. They might be here for a while.

A few hours passed, and she was still loading him up with questions.
"How'd you survive after being struck by lightning?" "Was it hard to lead the Skulkin army? Why'd they immediately follow your command instead of Samukai's?" "Did you have claws?!"
Each one, without Misako intending to, slowly dug under Garmadon's skin. She didn't mean to, but each question seemed to bring back bad memories. But, at last, she came to the final question.
"Okay, just one last question," She sighed as she looked at clock, which was now pointing out the late hour of 11:30. "What was your worst fear above anything when you were evil? Do you even remember anything you feared? Were you scared that your comrades would turn against you, or....?"
That's it. That did it.
A sharp pain shot through his chest. His stomach felt like it was tying itself in knots. Sweat started rolling down his head. His lip trembled as he tried to think up a reply. Soon enough, words began to stumble out.
"I....I do remember. I was..." He paused, letting out a quiet hiss of pain. "I was scared. Not of the Ninja. Not of my henchmen. It was...." He looked up at her slowly.
"It was me. I was....scared.....of myself."
He gripped the end of his gi, continuing his answer. "I was scared that I'd hurt Lloyd. Or...or you, or Wu." His breathing began to become labored. "I was scared of how I'd be received by all of Ninjago after...after all of the pain....the suffering that...that I caused."
Misako put a hand on her husband's shoulder. She knew she had messed up. Not knowing what else to say, she uttered, "It's okay. I know how you feel."
"I know how you feel." This phrase made his blood boil. He stood up with a sharp yell, making Misako fall backwards in fear.
"You know nothing of how I feel!" He shouted, tears brimming the corners of his eyes. "You never have to walk the streets where you wreaked havoc, terrified that someone might try to kill you! You don't have to lay your head down on your pillow each night, alone with your thoughts and memories! You don't wake up in the middle of the night, crying about a nightmare that you made! You don't have to live with the feeling that your own son might be living in fear of you!"
He started stomping his feet, punching the wall, throwing things around, anything to let out anger. Misako was shrinking up against the wall, trying to get out of his line of fire.
"You don't know anything about me, Misako! Because you don't care!" He finally sank to the ground, panting and sobbing.
Misako waited a bit before going to him. After a few seconds passed, she made her way to him, hunching down beside him.
"I'm...I'm so sorry," She said barely above a whisper. "I never meant to upset you, I never meant to tread on your past. I should've known not to, I don't know why I even wanted to ask you these things." She hovered her hand above his shoulder. Would she even dare to touch him?
She dropped her hand, stood up to leave, and started to walk away. A rough, yet soft, hand gripped her hand before she could get any further. She looked down at him, his glossy eyes meeting her's.
"Don't leave," His lips shook as he spoke. "Please."
She nodded, coming closer to him, sitting down beside him. Once she hit the ground, he huddled against her, trapping her in a tight hug.
"I'm sorry I...um, exploded on you."
"It's okay, Garmadon. I'm sorry for triggering you. You shouldn't have let me go on like that."
A few minutes passed and Garmadon still was clinging to her. She looked down to his figure.
"Garmadon? Are you..?" Asleep. Garmadon was asleep. She giggled a little. She tried to get up, but he just pulled her back down.
Oh well. Guess I'll sleep here tonight. She thought as she wiggled down into a comfortable position. At least he's calmer now.
