Third Person POV

"Now, remember, La-Lloyd, I'll be back to pick you up at two, alright?!" Garmadon shouted from the driver's seat of his shark mech.

Lloyd covered his face. "You don't have to yell, I'm down here," He said as he shook his head. "I can just walk, you know that, right?"

Garmadon cackled, "In this crime-ridden city? No way! Besides, your mom wanted me to get you. So, I will see you then!"

Lloyd shrugged his shoulders, securing his backpack to balance on his shoulder better. "Fine. Bye, Dad."

He turned on his heel, trying his dead-level best to ignore Garmadon waving at him as he dashed into the school.

As he closed the door behind him, he let out a sharp exhale. The sound of a single giggle from the side of him made him jump.

Looking up from the floor he had been absentmindedly staring at, he saw a girl he had never seen before. She was slightly shorter than him, but not by much. Her hair was long and colored whitish blonde, like milk almost. Hugged to her chest was a small stack of brightly colored binders. Her dark clothes brought illumination to her pale skin as the lights hit it.

Lloyd suddenly came to realize that he had been staring for too long.

"Uh..I-I..? Hi...?" Each word tumbled out of his mouth at a painstaking rate to his embarrassment.

The girl laughed, "Hello! I just couldn't help but notice that you came here on that giant shark."

Lloyd felt his cheeks heat up. It was for this reason that he tried to sneak out early to get to school. Being seen escorted by his dad, in a mechanical shark no less, was so embarrassing. "Oh. Oh! That...yeah, that's just..my dad insisted on it, it wasn't my idea."

Suddenly, her jaw dropped. He felt his stomach tighten. "Are....are you telling me that your dad is Lord Garmadon?!" She exclaimed.

Lloyd bit his lip, stammering as he nodded his head.

"Then that means..., you're Lloyd Garmadon..!"

"Yeah, that's me!" He smiled awkwardly. "What about you? What's your name?"

"Oh, my name is Harumi. It's nice to meet you, Lloyd!"

Lloyd replied, "Nice to meet you, too."

The bell rang, sending dozens of students scrambling to make their way to their classes. Lloyd took off running, shouting, "I'll talk to you later, Harumi!"

She stood still, hugging her binders a little tighter to her chest. "Lloyd Garmadon..." She whispered under her breath with a grin.

It was now ten minutes before Lloyd was going to be let out from school. Garmadon was already parked in front of the school, ready to pick him up in his mech as he promised.

He sat with his legs stretched out, feet resting on the dashboard, humming and sometimes singing to the songs on the radio.

Suddenly, an odd feeling swept over him. He looked around the schoolyard, scanning for the pair of eyes that he felt hanging onto him. His eyes met a younger girl's, who was walking along the sidewalk.

He rolled the window down, not breaking eye contact, and roared. The little girl cried, running the other way as fast as she could. He threw his head back laughing at himself. He abruptly stopped once he heard a peal of unknown laughter join him.

Garmadon followed the direction of the sound to see a girl standing halfway behind a bush in front of the school. His eyes narrowed, trying to figure out who it was.
