Were my ears functioning well? Did I hear him correctly? I couldn't believe my ears. Was I dreaming or was it a reality? I wanted it to be a reality, not just a dream or a vision.

"Did I hear you correctly?" I asked, looking into his beautiful eyes. He was such a nice man to be with. He nodded with a small smile on his lips.

"You mean it?" I asked. I was still in shock and could not digest that he said what I wanted to hear from him and thought that he would never ever say it to me. He nodded again. "I mean everything I say. I don't beat around the bush." He said.

He pulled me close to him and his chest did a wonderful job in absorbing all my astonishment. I held onto him so tightly. My heartfelt so big when he kissed the top of my head and rested his head there.

"How much do you love me?" I mumbled, resting my head on his shoulder. He didn't say anything for a while and the silence between us was setting me paranoid.

"You are young, talented, and a bit undisciplined. I am never going to chain you. I love you so much that even if you choose to fall for someone else then I'm never going to stop you from realizing your happiness. You have complete liberty with me. You can do whatever you want to do with me." He brought his hand in front of me and put my hand on his fourth finger where his band was. I gasped when I realized what he was going to do.

I removed my hand quickly and shook my head. "No, you don't have to do that. I don't want you to remove it to prove your love. I trust you."

His fingers intertwined with mine as he kept looking into my eyes. "Don't look at me like that," I told him. He just made me feel super self-conscious.

"Why not?" He chuckled.

"You are so pretty. I can't stop it even if I want to. I just want to keep looking at your beautiful face." He said. I could feel my cheek getting so sensitive that I could feel the tingles there. I covered his eyes with my hands which made him laugh.

His laughter was so beautiful. It made me smile. I was lucky to have him in my life. I was so grateful to the almighty that he blessed me with him.

"Ursula," He said. The silence was broken when I hummed.

He looked so adorable while my hand covered his eyes to avoid his stare.

"Whenever you feel that I'm not right for you or we aren't made to be together or you find someone who makes you happier, you'll tell me first." He said. I removed my hands from his eyes and looked at him. He looked so solemn. I didn't know why he felt that I'd find someone better. I didn't want anyone other than him.

"Why do you feel that I'd not stick around?" I asked. He just smiled and didn't reply. "I love you, Aoran. It's love, not an infatuation. I'm going to be there with you forever."

"Forever is a long time. Life is full of uncertainties and we can't plan everything." He said.

"You don't believe me?" I asked.

He smiled. "It's not about believing. It about planning for something in advance. If you fall for someone else then let me know before you decide to cheat. That's it."

"I wouldn't cheat on you ever," I replied, partly hurt.

He sighed heavily and looked at me. "I turned forty-eight today, Ursula. You are nineteen. How do you think you'll be physically happy with me twelve years later? I'll be in the category of senior citizens in the next twelve years."

I didn't like the way he was putting it up. "I'll still be happy. I'm not here because the sex is good. I'm with you because I love you with all my heart. I have chosen to stay with you. Nobody has forced me. And, I am going to stay here and love you forever even if it's long. But, if it gives you relief then, yes, I will tell you if I ever fall out of love or find someone else." Though I was sure I would never because I was here only for him.
