"Are we at the right place?" I asked in confusion.
I frowned as I looked at the huge mansion in front of me. Did Hazel live here?
Looking at the mansion I could not comprehend how it was even possible. It had to be a dream. I blinked my eyes quite a few times still the view in front of me didn't alter. There were many people in the garden, laughing and chatting. But, I was in bottomless thoughts. How could the dream home that I drew in my notepad exist?
Was it some kind of coincidence or I had seen this mansion before? But, I never saw it. I moved to NY a few months ago. Rose and I were here on a student foreign exchange program. There was no way in hell I could have ever seen this mansion in my entire existence.
"I'll inform ma'am!" Yanez broke my chain of thoughts.
I nodded my head and looked around. Everything was precisely the way I had drawn on my notepad. I was stunned to see the form of the branches of the trees at the corners of the mansion. I took a deep breath as I couldn't realize what was going on. An uneasy feeling started growing in the pit of my stomach as I wondered about seeing the younger version of Hazel in my dreams and then drawing the mansion where she lived.
What was it? Was there something that I was missing? Some sort of connection?
"Ursula!" I was suddenly pulled into a hug which almost suffocated me. I was physically feeling low all of a sudden and I wanted to run away from the place.
"Wow! You look drop-dead gorgeous." I pushed my insane notions away and focused on the girl in front of me. My lips automatically pulled up into a smile. "Thanks!"
My eyes couldn't stop staring her pretty face. She had put some makeup on too. She had the sharpest features and looked far more feminine than her younger version in my dreams. She looked like a beautiful mermaid in her simmering aqua floor-length dress.
"I've never seen someone as beautiful as you." I stared into her hazel eyes and suddenly my brain gave me a flashback of her pooled in blood from my dream. I tore my gaze away from her. My eyes landed on Yanez who stood so attentively a yard away from her. He gave me a weird look and looked at me from up to bottom before looking away.
"I thought you were into your sugar daddy." She smiled showing her perfect teeth and why did I have a feeling like they were really sharp. A smile found my lips too on the mention of my sugar daddy.
"Sugar daddy? Well, he's out of the world. He is so attractive." I said dreamily. She raised her eyebrow and looked at Yanez.
"Can you please go and find grandie?"
He looked at her with a frown and said, "No!"
She instantly looked pissed and grabbed my hand before dragging me along with her.
"Hey! What happened?" I asked to which she huffed. We stopped and stood at a distance from him. She turned to me and pulled her sugary smile again.
"Nothing! I just wanted you to meet my grandie. She wanted to see you."
Why would her grandie want to meet me? We weren't that good friends, right?
I looked around the surrounding and the strangely familiar feeling started surrounding me. I really needed to divert my mind. I had to. "Yanez said you aren't a mechanic. I mean what are you? You are one of the rich people, why do you even do that mechanical work at AH?"
"Rich people? Don't say that. I thought we were friends." She frowned.
"Yeah! We are. I was just wondering why do you do mechanical work. Your hand can turn rough with grease. You can do any departmental work." I replied.
