As I walked out of the hotel, I saw the rose garden in front of it. I wiped my tears and walked into the garden. The pain in my belly was excruciating and I was in so much discomfort. I sat at the base of a dense bush and rubbed my aching belly for some warmth.
"Ursula!" I tensed up when I heard my name. I looked through the bushes and saw him standing near the entrance of the hotel and looking for me. He was talking to the woman standing nearby. I saw him get busy on his phone. He looked worried.
I jerked up when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw sugar daddy on display. I sat still, breathing heavily. I felt my belly swirling and the movement of my diaphragm made me feel sicker. I didn't even have the money to go home. I peeked out from the bush and saw him looking around once before getting inside his car.
I took a breath of relief and looked at my phone. It dinged with his messages.
Where are you? Are you okay?
Please receive the call.
It's not safe, Ursula. It's getting darker, please. Where are you?
I wiped my tears and got up. I sat on the chair nearby and looked at my vibrating phone. I didn't know what to tell him or what to talk to him. As the call died down I put my phone on airplane mode and thought about how I could reach home. It was not safe to take cabs as it was already ten in the evening.
I went through my contacts and there was nobody I could call except Levi. I logged off from the airplane mode and praying, I dialled his number but how could I think that he would pick up my call. I opted to text him.
Levi, I need your help. Please, call me ASAP! As soon as the text was sent, I saw an incoming call from his end. I couldn't stop crying thinking that he was always up for helping me even when he was so upset with me.
"Levi!" My voice broke; I tried hard to compose myself.
"What happened? Are you crying?" He sounded so panicked. I shook my head. "Nothing happened." I sobbed and I could sense him getting upset.
"I'm coming to your apartment right now." He said. "Don't cry! Just wait for five minutes." He added. What was he? What was he really made up of?
"I'm not at my place. I am at..." I looked at the hotel building for the name. "I'm at Marlton Hotel. Please, pick me up." I begged him.
"What are you doing there?" He asked and I knew he had an idea and he just needed to hear it from me.
"Don't ask me, please." I wiped my messed up face and leaned back on the chair. I winced when I felt burns in my coochie.
"I'm coming. Go inside the hotel and stay there. Don't dare to come out until I come." He said assuring me that he wouldn't take much time.
I nodded my head and then he hung up. I chose to stay outside in the garden. My gut was not feeling well. I felt like puking again. I cursed myself to even try the new weird topping. I got up and before I could move out I puked all over there.
My mouth tasted bitter and I had no energy left in my body. There were endless calls and messages from sugar daddy asking my whereabouts. I wanted to let him know that I was fine but then he didn't really care about me.
I got up when I received a call from Levi. He was outside the hotel already. I got up and walked my way toward the outside street. As soon as I saw him on his bike with his biker helmet on, I really got sentimental. I wanted to rush and hug him but I was so much more in pain.
"God! Why are you limping?" He asked removing his helmet and I smiled widely through the tear, looking at his Korean features. He frowned with his light eyebrows scrunched. He looked down further and came toward me before hugging me so tightly.
