That evening both Jashi had a feeling of anxiety but also a relief that the other person will deny. Both knew they couldn't deny their own parents and hoped for a release from this relationship that included them getting married.

Ashika was ready to impress Jai's family. Not that she wanted to or needed to. The whole Malhotra clan loved her except Jai's bhabi. She wanted her sister to get married to Jai as this would lead her to gaining full control of the house. But that didn't matter Ashika knew Jai was going to say no.

After a lot of teasing by the family members, the elders decided to choose a day

All smile at that. But Ashika realizes what she just did. She signs Jai to say no. But he ignores it, after knowing her answer. She mentally slaps herself.

Jai under pressure say yes
Both families celebrate with sweets while Jashi give each other death glares.
Both wanted to talk to each other, no fight with each other. BUt couldn't as everyone was busy pulling them around.
