Today's the day. The day I have to put on a fake face and act nice to entitle rich people to be honest I kind of wish I wasn't Landon's date. I hate big public things where there are people, I have no idea who they are. I just hate socialising all together most people annoy me. I let out a lengthy sigh and pick up my nude lipstick, "Why am I doing this?" I mumble to myself before feeling on my lips.

"Make sure you smile or you're going to scare everyone away with the face," I look over to my right to see Harley sitting there staring at me but this time she looks different. She doesn't look like how she normally does with her honey blonde hair falling over her shoulders, her Bratz singlet crop top, and black tenses skirt and white converse, no this time she had dried blood coming out of her mouth. A deep stab wound is to the side of her chest, her hair is messy like someone has grabbed it and tugged on it with great force, "What are you looking at Charlie-Rose?" Harley bounces off the counter.

"Harley my god," Is this what she looked like before she got burned? I'm horrified at the sight.

Harley chuckles, "Look at you so scared," she comes closer, "What did you think he did just burnt me to death?" Well, no but still. This is something I didn't want to see before going to the event. I don't want to see the pain he caused her before burning her remains.

"Please just leave me alone for tonight," I fumble with my purse, "I've already have so much stress about this I don't need you to add to it," I shove a few tissues into my purse.

Her high pitch giggle sends chills to my body, "You can't just tell me when or when not I can show up," her presence grows closer, "Your guilt is keeping me here, if you just tell the truth I'll disappear," I sigh out of frustration.

"If I tell the truth it will all fall on Kayla, you know his parents and they'll do anything to keep him out of jail even if it's paying off the jury," a screeching sound of silence meets my ears, "I'm sorry Harley if I could I would, I would shout the truth at the top of my lungs on the highest building here, but I know who's at risk and I'm not willing to take it," she just stands there staring at me, "You may not realise it but I'm nor Kayla is at fault for your death, you are, you were the selfish bitch who got yourself killed it was bound to happen one day," I spit the truth at her, "You made a lot of enemies Harley," if I had time I could write down everyone she hurt, "You put the target on your back as soon as you dropped us," I point my finger at her, "You Harley," I raise my voice, "You are the reason you got yourself killed," steam is radiating off my body.

My body feels hot, my fist are curled together, I grate my teeth together staring back at the beaten-up girl who just wants the attention back on her, "Charlie-Rose are you okay in there? Who are you talking to?" Landon's voice comes behind the bathroom door.

Shit, what is the time? I grab my phone checking the time. Fuck of course he is right on time.

"Charlie-rose," he calls out. I grab my purse and fling the door open.

"Landon, hi is it time to go already?" I'm breathless and flustered.

He crosses his arm over his chest and stands in front of the door blocking my exit, "Who were you talking to?" he puts his hand on the door and pushes it out of my grasp.

I can't help but laugh when he sees an empty bathroom, "I was on the phone to my friend," I giggle a little bit pulling off my lie.

"Oh, why didn't you tell me straight up?" he walks back out of the bathroom dragging me with him.
