Fluttering my eyes open, I groan as sunlight invades my eyes. I bring my arms up to my face to block out the bright star.

Huh- it's really warm under the blankets.

I snuggle deeper into them until I realize my pillow is moving. So unless inanimate objects had an overnight evolution- that is not my pillow.

And since when did I leave my curtains open..

I quickly open my eyes to find my head resting on a chest, only now realizing an arm is wrapped around my shoulders.

Memories start flooding my mind as I realize where I am.

After ordering pizza, Red and I retreated to his room to watch a movie marathon. The marvel movies- to be precise. Sadly- we didn't finish them all since that would take a lot more than one night.

I smile a little when I remember Red glaring at the screen whenever Black Widow came on because I kept simping after her. I mean- she is the baddest bitch. How could I not?

I finally glance up to see Red already looking down at me, a teasing smile on his lips.

"Who's the cuddler now, huh?" He says, gesturing towards the arm I had laid across his stomach.

"Still you." I mutter, my voice a little raspy for shouting at the tv last night. Then proceeded to snuggle my head into the side of his neck to hide my blush. Which probably wasn't the best idea considering the point I was trying to prove.

"Uh-huh, I think someone's in denial." He replies while I lift my head to glare at him, "By the way, it's already 2 in the afternoon."

"Oh.. why didn't you wake me up sooner?" I ask, since it's clear that he's been awake for a while by the look on his face.

"You looked peaceful... for once. Only someone with no soul would disturb that." He answers.

"Careful, your non-existent soft side is showing." I tease.

He pouts, which makes me laugh- since he was only proving my point. I stand up on the bed, then kick him in the side indicating that he should move.

"Ow."

"I'm hungry."

"Of course you are."

Still not moving, he lays there looking at me through his lashes.

"If you don't move I'm jumping on you."

"Try me."

With that, I jump and land on him with my elbow jabbing into his stomach. He groans, bringing his legs up to curl into a ball. I roll over him and skip out of the room, whistling innocently.

I laugh as I hear a faint "Fuck you!" coming from his room.

Arriving into the kitchen, I spot my phone on the counter. Turning it on, I realize I have 23 text messages and 15 missed calls. All coming from my mom.

Fuck.

I was supposed to visit them yesterday.

Quickly hitting the call button, I wait anxiously for my mom to pick up.

"Persephone Jackson."

I cringe slightly, "Hi, Mom.."

"Where in the world were you yesterday? Without you here, Paul keeps eating all the blue cookies and I'm starting to think he'll get diabetes." My mom says, and I hear some protest come from Paul who's most likely listening in.

"Sorry, I completely forgot. I can come over today though." I say, trying to make up for it.

"You forgot? The only way you could have forgotten... YOUNG LADY WERE YOU WITH A GIRL?" She shouts into the phone, bursting my eardrums.
