"I would totally buy a book about your life." Artemis says as we're all seated on the couches in the living room.
"Hah! It'd be more like a 20-book series. That took forever!" Wally groaned, lying upside down on the seat next to Arty.
It's true, we've been here for around 12 hours straight- mostly because everyone kept interrupting me in the middle of my story. Which then led to me threatening to shove riptide up their ass- in pen form- and then taking the cap off and watching the outcome. Which then led to a whole lot more arguing.
We're so functional, I know.
It's around 2 in the morning and we all have around 4 cups of coffee in our system.
The reactions for the first hour or so have been the typical- 'OH MY GOD! I mean- gods. Can I even say God anymore?" "YOU FOUGHT IN 2 WARS!!" "So you're basically the princess of the sea!?!" "Mt. Helen was YOU?!?"
And a whole lot of connecting the dots.
Now, however, since the group has been introduced to aliens and weird ass science experiments (not you connor- you're a babe) they're pretty used to their world being turned upside down. We're kind of just chilling and asking weird questions like "can you make someone's pee evaporate in their body so their bladder isn't full anymore?" or "Does Apollo call any of his sons sun? Like, as a pun?" and so on.
I'm currently lying next to Red on the coach, with my back against his chest and his arm around my waist. The caffeine is deteriorating so we all basically look like the morning of a hangover- but no one is actually sick. If that makes any sense.
"Right, but she doesn't actually need the money because she's basically rich. It'd be better to just give them away for free." Robin mumbles, tired eyes drooping as he speaks, a yawn escaping mid-sentence.
"And I can't believe you never even mentioned your hot ocean princess to your best bud, Kaldur. That betrayal right there." Red mutters behind me, his breath hitting my neck.
I chuckle as Kaldur's gills turn pink, and shuffle around trying to look at Red's face.
It's not until his grip on my waist tightens that I realize exactly what I'm doing. I smirk to myself and press back even farther into him.
Kaldur is stuttering something about not finding his princess attractive- then apologizing and saying I'm very attractive but he's not allowed to find me attractive or whatever else he's trying to come up with so that my father doesn't drown him.
Yes, drown him.
I'm only half listening to the conversation now- Megan saying something nice as always, arty making fun of wally, wally being a dumbass, and robin doing whatever the hell he always does.
Red groans softly in my ear and uses his hands to stop my hip movements.
"Blue, the team is right there." He whispers into my ear.
I turn my head halfway towards him, and whisper back, "You better be quiet then."
When he starts to protest, I snake my arm behind me and palm his dick instead, seeing as my hips are incapacitated.
"Blue." He growls into my ear, pulling me back against him tightly.
"Oops, my hand slipped." I apologize, smirking.
Just then, Artemis addresses me in one of her questions.
"Percy! I just realized, was it weird to call me one of the godesses's name?"
I laugh a bit, remembering the strangeness of the name and weapon choice. "It was definitely a weird coincidence since you-"
A leg sneaks between mine and slides up until it's right against my crotch. It doesn't look strange at all since it's a normal cuddling position.
