"How long do you think it will take her to wake up?" Someone asked, rather loudly may I add.

"That long," I grumbled, opening my eyes.

"Eat this, it'll help." A man said, handing me a piece of chocolate as Neville helped me to get up off of the floor and onto the seat.

"This is Professor Lupin, he's going to be our Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher," Neville explained, when my hair turned light green.

I nodded and took a bite of the chocolate.

"Do you remember what caused you to pass out?" The professor asked.

"Yeah, the dementor tried to come into the compartment. I cast the Patronus charm and sent it away before passing out." I said.

"So, were those Patronuses yours?" He asked.

"Yes," I said as I finished my chocolate.

"It is very hard to cast a full-bodied Patronus and to have two, do you remember what you were thinking of?" He asked.

"I was thinking of how some people don't judge me based on my family," I said, smiling at Neville. The other two must have left to get changed, I concluded.

Lupin gave me a concerned look.

"I'm a Malfoy who will probably get put into Gryffindor," I explained quickly.

After speaking for a while longer, he left to speak to the driver.

"He seems nice," I said.

Soon after, the other boys returned and the train stopped.

"Malfoy, Arista"

We were halfway through the sorting when my name was finally called. The students gasped. I rolled my eyes and my hair became streaked with light green and orange, causing another gasp. I sat on the stool and the hat was placed on my head.

"Another Malfoy, unlike your family, though. Very brave yet smart... hmm... yes... I know where to put you, GRYFFINDOR!!!" The hat exclaimed.

I smiled and walked over to Dean, Seamus, and Neville. All three boys hugged me before we sat down, me between Neville and Seamus. Many strange looks were sent out the way, including many glares from the Slytherin table. I just shrugged them off and laughed along with my new friends, my hair a light blue color.

After dinner, the boys lead me to the common room and pointed out the way to my dorm.

"Goodnight, boys," I said before heading to my dorm.

There were three other girls in my dorm, but only one, Hermione, greeted me. I opened my trunk to grab a pair of PJ's but froze when I saw the outfit on top. Perfectly folded was a Gryffindor sweater and skirt, along with a red and gold headband.

Mum had known. I smiled to myself, setting the outfit aside for tomorrow and grabbing my PJ's. I quickly got changed and climbed under the covers, thinking about my new friends, one, in particular, running through my mind.
