The next morning, I got up early. The full moon had been last night. I crept out to the Shrieking Shack just as sun started to rise. I was shocked when I saw that it was empty. Something was wrong. I ran back out of the shack. Just as I stepped outside, a figure emerged from the edge of the forest. I quickly dodged the killer tree, sprinting towards Prof. Lupin.

"What happened?" I asked, letting him lean on me for support.

"Alot." He grumbled, wincing.

As we walked he somewhat filled me in on what had happened. Everything from Ron's rat being a 'dead' murderer to Snape getting knocked out. We soon got to the Hospital Wing. I helped Prof. Lupin to one of the beds before going to fetch Madam Pomfrey from her office. Once we returned, she shooed me away.

"I've got him from here. You better get to breakfast, your friends will be looking for you." She said, ushering me to the door.

I laughed, letting Madam P drag me out.

"I'm going, I'm going!" I exclaimed, walking away.

I hurried to the Great Hall, hoping to find the trio. If anybody knew what had happened to Sirius, it would be them. I ran up to the three of them, who were sitting at the Gryffindor table.

"Do any of you know what has happened to Snuffles?" I asked.

"Snuffles?" Ron asked.

"Yeah. You know, big black dog." I said with a wink.

   The three's eyes widened.

"You knew?" Hermione asked.

"Of course." I said, smirking slightly.

"He's safe, don't worry." Harry said in a hushed voice.

"Thank Merlin." I sighed.

   Everybody is safe.
