Y/N POV:
"Ban, why are we in the Fairy King's Forest?" I asked as I looked around the place where King had found me all those years ago. I smiled fondly at the memory, while taking in the sight of all the beautiful fairies, and their stunning brightly coloured wings.
"They use my blood to help keep the forest alive, and I figured with all the fairies here they would help keep you safe." Ban shrugged, finally putting you down on your feet.
After letting some of his blood drip onto the roots of the life force of the forest, a giant tree, Ban and I laid down in a beautiful meadow. It was covered in lilies, of every colour i could think of, and the bright sunlight caused the vibrant colours sparkle like gemstones. I laid down on his stomach as he played with my hand.
"I hope King comes soon with some answers, I hate being this confused" I huffed twirling one of the lime green lilies in my free hand. Bans hand tightened on mine. "I don't know what's going on but I hate the sickening feeling it's giving me. I have a feeling it has something to do with your memories being lost and those nightmares. I swear, if the Captain had any idea of who you were, this whole time what caused the amnesia, then I'm gonna rip his head off" Ban fumed, tensing his whole body at the thought.
I turned to face him and reached up, giving him a quick kiss, instantly feeling his rigid body relax. "At least we get to be together alone for a little bit" I smiled slyly, as I snuggled my head back into his chest. He wrapped his arms around my waist and held me close while his chin rested in my hair. "Always looking on the bright side of things, aren't you babe?" I felt the vibrations of his chin, as he laughed.
We looked up at the sky, both of us not wanting to admit to each other how scared we truly were. Instead we quietly watched clouds pass us by, and at some point both of us had drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
Gloxinia's POV:
Upon entering my old home, I realized how strange it felt to be back here. I saw my sister talking to another fairy and quickly a warm feeling spread through my body. How is it that she looks the exact same as she did all those years ago? The only major change was she no longer had her legs, because of that horrid human who tricked you. Though in all honesty, it's not like she actually needs them, she has wings after all.
I hid behind a bush a few meters away from her, not ready to talk to her, or let her know hey I'm actually alive, surprise! I was running over scenarios on how our reunion would go, when a purple glint caught my eye. On a rope chain hanging around her neck, there was a large purple with a black tint gem. I knew right away it was a goddess amber but why did she have one? They were used to capture demons, and demonic power.
With the demon realm sealed by the goddess', the only demons around anymore would be Meliodas, and (Y/N). Could that be the one holding (Y/n)'s memories I wondered? That would make the most sense, she never really liked my relationship with (Y/n), so what better revenge than being a part of making her forget me.
Once I had noticed that the other fairy had left, I quickly approached her. "I'm glad you're alive" I whispered into her ear before speeding away. She looked around quickly recognizing my voice right away, fumbling nervously with the gem hanging on her neck. "Glox? Is it really you" she whispered out into the wind. I didn't respond,
"I thought you were dead." When I didn't answer her, she continued speaking. "She's currently here too you know....She doesn't remember us but I'm assuming that's why you're here." Her face contorted into a frown as she finished the last part of her sentence.
"She doesn't even remember that she has fairy blood." She mumbled as she looked back down at the twine rope hanging around her neck. "Can you believe that? How funny is it that she's even best friends with the current fairy king." I stepped forward wanting to know more, then quickly froze again, not ready to show myself. My movement caused the bush in front of me to rustle.
"Kind of like history repeating itself. How weird is that? I wonder if she has deja vu." She giggled at her own joke, looking at the bush where I was hiding. All I could do is stare at my sister in disbelief. So (y/n) is friends with the new fairy king? I thought to myself.
Even though she doesn't remember me, or growing up in the fairy forest? Maybe she remembered the feeling of being friends with fairy royalty and he was there for her instead of me? Or maybe she's right and it is deja vu. Wait did she say she's here in the forest, as in right now?
I stepped into view of my sister, seeing her smile brightly the moment our eyes met. "She's here right now? Where?" was all I asked. Her smile turned into a frown, as I had just confirmed that I was only here for (Y/N).
"Gloxinia it is you!" my sister whispered and began to approach me. I held up a hand to stop her, unsure if she was coming to hug me or slap me for disappearing for 3000 years. As much as I wanted to embrace her I couldn't bring myself too.
Eventually, she would find out I was now a part of the ten commandments, and she would be horrified. It's better if she just decides to hate me now, instead of getting her hopes up and then becoming disappointed when we kill Meliodas. The demons wanted revenge for his part in their lock up, and I knew unfortunately innocent people would get hurt, or killed. Being one of the commandments, meant I had to illuminate anyone in our way of that revenge.
"Don't tell anyone you saw me." I hissed at her. "That thing around your neck, it looks a lot like a goddess amber. It's holding her memories. They're in that jewel aren't they." Tears leaking from her eyes, she sighs and takes off the rope holding goddess amber. She looks at it, with anger in her eyes, and then throws it to me. I calmly catch it in one hand and nod at her, turning my back and begin to walk away.
"You always did love her more than me." She signed, as I froze in my place, my breath hitching in my throat, not daring to turn back around and look at her. "Meliodas taking her memories, it kept her and everyone else safe. I think it made her a better person, a less violent person." I hear her begin to walk towards me again.
"She's not the same girl you knew Glox. She's weaker, and even has a boyfriend to protect her, and she's so happy with him." Geraldine rambled on trying to extend the time she has with me. "Leave her alone, let her be happy." She began to sob, spitting out her next words between choked breaths.
"For once pick me your own flesh and blood. Forget about her and come home please." I just decided to return to walking away. She wasn't wrong. I always thought of (Y/n) as more of a sister than I did Geraldine.
Tired of walking I began to fly, and get lost in my thoughts. So Meliodias took her memories eh? Zeldris is not going to be happy about that, what so ever. However, maybe I'll get lucky, and he will be happy that I got her memories, and he wont take that rage out on me. All of a sudden I stopped dead in my tracks, floating in mid air as I took a closer look at the sight on the ground.
There she was laying in the meadow beneath me. Maybe luck was on my side this time, what else could explain that as I was flying over I'd see her? She looked the exact same as she had all those years ago.
"(y/n)" I hummed. I wasn't going to disturb her, it wasn't time for our reunion yet. She was sleeping on someone, who I didn't see at first, but once I noticed I clenched my fists. He looked so much like the man that stabbed Geraldine, so much like Rue. Shaking my head, to get rid of these thoughts of Rue I flew head, straight to Zeldris to show him my completed task.
