Justin's POV:
I continue to strum the strings on my guitar in my bedroom alone, clearing my throat for the next part of the song.
I nod my head to the melody before I prepare to sing.
I begin:
I don't work hard when it's easy
I put in work when it's hard
Girl I never believed in, love until I had yours
This is more than a season
And I'm not just sprung
I'm not afraid to tell ya, that you're the one
I look up and see Mia leaning against the door frame, a smile playing on her lips.
I can't help but smile back.
She has me in a sort of trance as I strum the strings on my guitar, making butterflies float in my stomach.
I bite down on my lips to control my soon to be giggle, blushing uncontrollably.
I continue, staring at her:
I'm the one you wake up thinking about
The one I can run to when I'm feeling down
Life is all good when you're around
Girl nobody from the past is beating you right now
'Cause I take you home to mama
Let you meet my friends
'Cause you don't come with drama
So I want you til' the world ends
You're way more than worth it
But I don't feel like I deserve it
You got the pieces
You're my kind of perfect
I hit my high notes, my falsetto on fuckin' point.
I love making Mia smile.
She covers her hand with her hand, hiding her huge smile.
I stop playing, raising my eyebrow at her.
"No. Why are you hiding that beautiful smile of yours? I wanna see it," I whine.
She uncovers her mouth and laughs at me.
"There it is."
I put my guitar down and rush to her, grabbing her waist before spinning her around.
Her arms instantly wrap around my neck in an effort to resist falling.
I stop and place her back down, resting my forehead on hers.
"Don't worry babe. I'll catch you if you fall."
She pulls away and playfully slaps my chest, scoffing.
"That was corny as fuck," she laughs.
I jokingly gasp, placing my hand over my chest.
"Well, damn."
She leans up, pecking my nose before rubbing her nose against mines.
"You know I love you," she laughs.
"Mhmm. Sure," I scoff.
She lets go of me, placing her hands on her hips.
"Fine. No sex for a week."
My jaw drops to the floor.
"A week?!," I shout.
"Yep, now let's head downstairs. It's time for dinner."
She turns around and makes her way out the room.
I quickly make my way towards her, grabbing her before pushing her against the wall.
I put my arms on each side of her, trapping her.
"Justin, what are you-"
I smirk at her, making her realize what I'm about to do.
"No," she sternly says.
"What?," I ask, pretending like I have no idea what's going on.
She crosses her arms against her chest.
"I know that look Justin. I've seen it plenty of times."
I move my face closer to hers, our lips brushing against eachother.
"I know you want to," I rasp in a sexy tone.
"Okay, so what? The kids are downstairs eating dinner. Now is not the time, and didn't I just put us on a sex ban?," she reminds me.
I pull away from her.
"Fine. Let's make a bet. I bet you can't go a week without having sex with me. If I win, you have to go on a rollercoaster."
She scoffs.
"Justin, you know I hate rollercoasters."
"Then, you better try hard," I say, smirking.
"Fine. Two can play it that game. If I win, you go in a tank full of sharks."
Shit.
She got me good.
I nod.
"Deal."
