Justin's POV:

"Kenzie?"

She smiles her beautiful pearly whites at me, while I stand there in awe, my jaw dropped.

"Hey Dad."

"Aww Kenzie. You're so beautiful," I tell her.

I embrace her in a tight hug, amazed.

"Thanks Dad."

I let her go and look around.

"So, what's going on?"

"You're in a coma Dad. There was a bad car accident."

"How long ago?," I ask.

"Not too long. About a week ago."

AN: *does shmoney dance*

I raise my eyebrow. I remember her being almost four, not a teen.

"Kenzie, how old are you?"

"Well, in real life, I'm four. But, this is just a dream, so I'm sixteen."

"And I'm being you as a teenager because...?"

She smirks at me.

"Oh, no reason," she teases.

"Well, am I ever gonna see you like this?"

"Maybe," she answers.

"Well, am I ever gonna wake up?"

"I don't know. Maybe."

I scoff.

"Just like your mother. You love to tease."

"Mhmm," she responds with a smile.

"So, what are we gonna do?"

"Just wait it out. Maybe you'll wake up."

Mia's POV:

I continue to hold Justin's hand as he remains still, Pattie and Fredo watching me.

I hear Pattie sigh.

"It's hard watching my boy live like this. He must be in agony."

"I know. It's how I felt while I was in rehab."

"Mia, we can't do this forever. What if he-"

"Fredo, don't start with the 'what ifs.' Have hope," I tell him.

"Mia, look at him. We can't do this for long."

"Fredo, I'm not giving up on him. I can't. I won't."

"Mia, it's hard seeing him like this," Pattie tells me.

"Oh, so you're just gonna give up on him, too?"

She starts at me, looking a little annoyed.

"Mi-"

"No. Just no. What the fuck is up with all of you?"

"What?," Fredo says, confused.

"I mean, with all the bullshit. Why did everyone think I needed rehab? All I needed was Justin and time."
