And with that, both of you seem to disappear from sight

Of course, you are both still there. It is just that to outside observers, you are no longer visible due to how fast you and Kyros are fighting. It is as if you are dancing around one another. Kyros appears to be struggling a bit, but he is managing to keep pace with you.

Man, this would look so cool played back in slow motion...

Anyway, your strikes are a blur on Kyros. Magenta streaks across his armor, causing him to wince in pain. Your blade is slashing him at superhuman speeds. Kyros parries your attacks, but they seem slower than usual. If it was anyone else, they would have already died a million times over by now.

Kyros retaliates, his blows hitting you with terrifying accuracy. Good thing he strikes blindly, otherwise you would have been turned into a splat on the ground by now. However, you have the advantage of speed. You duck, dodge and dart around him as you try to put as much distance between you both as you can. You both flash around the battlefield for a few minutes, pulling off some cool MLG-worthy moves, like backflipping and and flinging no-scope daggers.

Just before you can deliver a fatal thrust, his armor causes an explosion of sparks, causing your blade to fizzle out. You feel an impact in your side. Looking at it, you can see that Kyros' sword has now stabbed through you. You kick Kyros in the head, causing him to retract the sword.

...

The blood stops flowing. Your vest had unlocked its auto-heal procedure. Now all but the most fatal of injuries would no longer affect you. The pain was great, but you were still alive. Kyros on the other hand appeared to be in bad shape. You have never seen him look so tired before.

But his suit would not let him rest. In a flash, his armor rejuvenates him, causing him to re-energize and come back with even more vigor than before. With a roar, he charges at you, intent on killing you once and for all. "GAAAAH!" he screams in agony, the electricity coursing through his veins, powering his cells past breaking point.

You attempt to fight him, but he is simply too fast. He smirks.

He disappears once more, but before you can react you can feel numerous blows all over your body. You attempt to move, but find that you can't. You are being constricted. Parts of armor cover his hands as well as his feet, making his blows as electrifying as they were physically damaging.

> You overcome the intense electrical pressure to uppercut Kyros.

You manage to attempt an uppercut at Kyros, but he quickly moves out of the way. You instead connect with some of his armor, and Kyros, laughing, begins to repeatedly punch you in the jaw.

Of course, the auto-heal was outhealing his blows, but that didn't mean it prevented the pain you were currently feeling. In fact, the more you attempted to heal, the worse it got. Soon it felt as if your jaw was being held together with toothpicks and Elmer's glue.

In times like these, it's nice to use explosives.

You quickly grab some thermonium explosives of your own within your vest and activate it. Kyros continues to punch you, but the sudden shock of the blast and the accompanying heat waves makes him stop.

Both you and Kyros fly in opposite directions, slamming into collapsed walls. You attempt to stand, but your vision is blurry as all the blood in your head begins to pool in your head.

Kyros, of course, isn't feeling much better.

It will take some time for your vest to auto-heal you, so now you can only hope that Kyros stays down long enough for you to regenerate enough to stand a chance.
