In the early of morning in the same day of the battle of Ilrien back in Slovane, General Seon was summoned to the Prince's chamber and he sighs as he walked through the halls of the Castle for knowing the reason why he is called.

Ilrien was in trouble, a messenger from there spreaded it around the neighboring lands but still, they will not be calling for anyone's help as the situation were still in their controll.

She's there. Sunghoon, Jong Seong, Sunoo and Geonu are there. Because they sended the four never knowing that this would happen in just a blink of an eye. They were trapped because of their own order and it would gonna be in their faults if they died there.

"Your Majesty, General Seon has arrived!"

"Let him in"

When Seon entered the room, he was met with a set of cold eyes from Princess Soojung and Hanbin who watched him in utmost hurt and regret for what they had done to their friends.

The Princess was obviously affected as well as she sniffled before walking out of the room leaving him to the Prince who quickly gestures for him to get closer at the table where he is seating.

Before Seon could utter any words, Hanbin bursts into tears from what he had heard. "This is our fault. If we did not insisted on making them go there, they could be safer here and not in danger there, Seon", he choked in tears and rubbed it rather harshly.

The general immediately took a sit across him and lets out a heavy sigh. "I'm terribly sorry. You should not be blaming yourself and remember that I was the one who suggested their journey in the first place", he reminded and handed a small cloth for him to wipe his tears away.

Hanbin picked it up and rubbed it in his red-rimmed eyes for crying in horror as soon as he woked up from one of messenger delivering the news. "So what should we do then? I madly wanted to send help or go there myself but Ilrien could misunderstand it as my being calling for a war now that their country is in the middle of trouble", He voiced out his concerns.

A small shake of Seon's head had quickly made his face crestfallen. "In other words, we could not do anything for now. We just have to wait and see for the outcome which is I'm afraid of", he muttered without a choice in this kind of situation.

Hanbin's eyes widened at his statement. "So, what are you trying to say? That we should just leave our friends there? Trapped and afraid for their lives? And what about her? Are you letting her die?", he accused, his fears getting the best of him.

Seon only looked at him in understanding. He get that Hanbin was afraid for their friend's life and the thought of losing her scarred the Prince making him act like this.

However, he gets more agitated and turned his fears to anger at the lack of reply from the other "You better not tell me how we could just sit here and wait for a miracle to come. If I lose our friends and her, I tell you I will lose myself as well for I loved them more than my life", he threatens, as tears started to form in his big eyes.

Biting his lip, Seon dropped his gaze and eventually revealed what he really felt. "Do you think I was not worried for our friends too? And of her? You don't even have an idea how I was suffering as well for waking up everyday without her to take care of us", he started and ended up choking. "I knew her longer than you and half of my soul would be gone if I lose her like I lost Youngbin before"
