Not related to the main plot, but this is a sidestory. Following the events of when Noelle didn't respond to Barbara's confession. So it's just dedicated to those two!

"Barbara? Barbaraaa!" After multiple attempts to call out the blonde by ringing her doorbell and receiving no reponse, Noelle was feeling hopeless.

The previous evening she received a confession from Barbara, but because of how she didn't know what to respond with she hadn't said anything.

"Hello! Are you Barbara's friend?" A blonde with hair tied back into a ponytail opened the door, startling the visitor.

"A-ah friend. Yeah! I'm Barbara's friend, is she home?"

"She's been cooped up in her room all day, it would be great if you go check up on her for me. I have-A guest to take care of. Oh and I'm Barbara's older sister Jean."

"My name is Noelle! Thanks for having me!" Noelle cautiously entered the house, there she saw a familiar brunette sleeping on the couch. "Miss Lisa Minci..."

"Oh you two have already met? Lisa is a colleague of mine. Aaand Barbara's room is over there." Jean pointed at the room at the end of the hall with a blue sign that had Barbara in a cursive font written.

The lavender haired girl crept to the end of the hall and lightly knocked on the door that held a somber atmosphere. "Barbara? It's me."

"Noelle?" The blonde gasped. "Don't come in yet!"

"Eeh, okay. I'll wait until you're ready. Please call me in when you are!"

Noelle adjusted the fancy little dress she wore that fit tightly around her waist. Now that she was here, having to face what she ran away from the previous day, everything felt so real and she was nervous.

5 minutes passed, and still she stood waiting for Barbara to let her in. Quietly she twisted open the doorknob and entered to see Barbara struggling to tie up her left curls.

"N-noelle I didn't call you to come in yet!"

She walked close to the girl that sat in front of her vanity and took the lock of hair into her hand, combing through the strands with her slender fingers. "Where's the band? I'll tie your hair up for you." Noelle's voice was warm and calming. The same voice that always stole Barbara's heart over and over. A faint blush formed on her cheeks when she handed Noelle her hair tie.

"I'm surprised you came to see me. You must be tired coming here right after work."

"It doesn't feel tiring when I get to be with you Barbara."

"There you go again trying to sway me with your words! Do you really mean that?"

"I've always meant the things I've told you."

Barbara gazed at her reflection on the mirror, where Noelle had been standing behind her, fixing her hair with a smile on her face.

"Do you know what I came here for?" The lavender haired girl asked after she finished fixing up her blonde friend's hair.

"To friendzone me, right?"

"What made you think I was going to friendzone you?" She bent down and rested her face on Barbara's shoulder, looking at the reflection of them two right beside each other. "I came here to say I feel the same way."

"You do?!"

"I couldn't respond when you confessed because I couldn't find the right words. Maybe it's because I always tell you..."

"Tell me what?" Barbara's heart began to race, Noelle was intimately close to her. She wondered what was supposed to happen after this.

"I always tell you that I love you. I tell that to all you girls at the café, but the kind of love I feel for you is very special." Her arms wrapped around Barbara, a gentle yet sincere hug. "My love for you is a very special feeling that I cherish."

"D-does that mean now we're a cou...coup- couple?" The blonde asked.

"I guess it does." Noelle let go of her hold on Barbara and gave her a kiss on her cheek. Meanwhile Jean stood by the door, witnessing the scene.

"I'll just... Go ask them if they want tea later." She murmered to herself and left the two, which hadn't even noticed her presence.

"Ah, isn't young love adorable?" Lisa chuckled. "Too bad you've always been married to academics and your work, Jean."
