chapter five: a new prisoner to the abyss

Everyone in Mondstadt was filled with panic and confusion. The beloved Calvary captain of Monday was gone.

Jean was desperately doing everything in her power to try and track his location, Lisa was looking through his office to see if he said anything, and Albedo was out, trying to find any tracks Kaeya left behind.

When Lumine came back to Mondstadt Amber explained the situation. "Why would he leave though? Kaeya loved Mondstadt didn't he? " Amber sighed. "That's what we don't get. " She say down while Lumine did her best to comfort her girlfriend.

"No one in their right mind would try and kidnap the Calvary captain, Kaeya can put up a fight, even a camp of hilichurls isn't a problem for him. " She sighed. No one has found anything on it, honestly even Master Diluc seems worried. " Lumine pulled Amber close. "I promise I'll do my best to help as not just an honorary knight, but because I hate seeing Mondstadt like this. "

Amber let out a gentle sigh and hummed. "I do too, maybe with your help it'll be easier. " Lumine smiled and soon calmed her worried girlfriend down. "You alright now? " "Yeah" Amber smiled and got up. "Wanna help me look for clues? " She held out her hand. "Mhm" Amber helped Lumine up and the two females went out to look for their Calvary captain, also known as hot sexy titty man.

Aether watched people searching from afar, Kaeya was asleep still and he didn't want to wake him up since he gave Kaeya today off. Seeing Mondstadt like this almost made Aether laugh, the fact that he had what Mondstadt needed and they didn't realize it made him feel more powerful in a way. He could ask for riches, anything he ever wanted, and they might just give it up for their beloved Calvary captain.

Of course nothing is worth more than Kaeya obviously, but he'd love to see them offering anything and everything they could to get the Calvary captain back. "It seems Mondstadt goes into such a panic they don't even realize that the abyss has him, it'd be obvious they did. "

Aether hums. "Of course, they'll wake up too late and realize that their once Calvary captain of Mondstadt is now married to the prince of the abyss" Aether smirked. "Oh if only they knew Dain, if only the knew" "They probably won't realize it until somebody finds that ripped piece of Kaeya's pants on the ground, are you sure it's safe to just keep it there? "

Aether proudly chuckled. "Of course, I'd like to see them try and attack me" "What if it was your sister? " Aether laughed nervously. "Could you take care of it for me dad" Dain let out a small sigh. "Maybe, depends on the day and if she actually tries to take him back to Mondstadt. "

Aether hugged his father figure and smiled. "Thank you dad" "Mhm" Dain pat the blonde hair on the boy and stretched. "You should probably get back to Kaeya, he'll probably be waking up soon. " He cleared his throat. "I'll inform you if anybody finds out. " "Thank you Dain" "You're welcome"

"Stupid..... Find a better place to chat next time" The short alchemist thought. When Albedo went to move a stupid twig snapped. Fuck. Albedo threw the hood over his head and started running. "Dain-" "I'll grab him, you go" And with that Aether left and Albedo had a former Royal guard of Khaenri'ah on his tail.

"Stupid twig- I swear to the archons above that I better not get caught" Albedo went to change his direction but he was too late. He ran the wrong way, he was trapped, the snow beneath his feet crunched and the mountain that stood before him blocked any way of him escaping.

"You know I was quite confused why you ran this way, considering you spend more time here than in Mondstadt one would think you'd know this place better than the back of your hand. " He smirked. Albedo blushed slightly. "As the chief alchemist and captain of the investigation team for the knights of Favonius I order you to stay right there. "

"Cute, although I would but you have valuable information. I take the role as a father to the prince of the abyss and I wish to seem him happy, you could say Kaeya could assist Teyvat in calming down the abyss once Kaeya finally hits prince's soft spot, and once he does I doubt the prince would want to attack what Kaeya once called home. "

"So that means? " "You're now my prisoner" He said with a smirk. Albedo blushed once more. "Well fuck me" He mumbled. "I gladly will" "Not like that pervert" Dain picked up the short male and hums. "Now don't make this difficult for me and I won't make you wear a dress" "Make me wear I dress I'll murder you" "Funny, last time we talked you ask me to take-" Albedo huffed and blushed. "It was one time"

Once Dain returned back to the fallen kingdom he sat Albedo down on the bed. He layed back on said bed and pulled out a note and an ink and quill. He informed Aether that he had the person who overheard the conversation and that he'll deal with them. Obviously he wasn't gonna hurt Albedo since they had a...Interesting... History with each other.

Albedo was beyond upset. He not only had a little sister who will be worried sick but also an over protective mother who would gladly storm her way into this castle, slap Dain and leave with her son. And not to mention he was worried how terrified Mondstadt will be. He prays that they will realize the abyss is behind this soon.

".... So...... Where is Kaeya? " "Kaeya is where the abyss prince chose to stay, don't worry, it's not that far. " Albedo nodded and sighed. "I pray Mondstadt  will be fine, Kaeya was a lot of panic, and now that I'm gone I'm worried for how Mondstadt will handle all of this. " "I can't say Mondstadt will be fine but by now they should catch on that the abyss is behind this. "

He kissed Albedo's forehead gently making Albedo blush. "Although even when they find out and demand a fight they're not taking you away from me, I'm keeping you understood? " Albedo layed against him. "Bring me my little sister and then I'll stay" "That's all? " "And my equipment for experiments, my alchemy set, and sketch books and I'll stay. "

"I'll see what I can do. " "Wait are you seriously gonna bring my sister here? " "Yes" ".... Just so I'd stay? " "I told you I'm keeping you, and I mean it" Dain kept Albedo close and of course this made Albedo very red. "Oh" Is all he could manage to say.

Back with our favorite soon to be husbands Kaeya and Aether were having a discussion about Mondstadt. "So everyone's okay? " "They should be, of course they are panicking but other than that you shouldn't worry" Kaeya sighed softly. "Tomorrow you might be meeting somebody, it depends if Dain brings them over or not" "Who? " Aether hums soft. "A new prisoner to the abyss. "

Yes Dain x Albedo is canon as well as Lumine and Amber. Diluc is single in the love universe because I said so. Anyways next chapter I'll probably write Dain and Albedo fucking since my one shot book got taken down so now I can't write Dain and Albedo fucking unless I do it in this boon so that's exactly what I'm gonna do. Oh and Albedo has Durin's blood and he can purr or something- I don't know how dragons work 😪
