Servant to the ruler of the abyss (Finished)

chapter seven: Fallen

Falling, that's all that was happening, falling into an endless void as the blue hair of the former Calvary captain's flows within the wind. Something about the sweet quiet and relaxing fall made Kaeya calm.

Kaeya's eyes that were previously closed opened, a hand reached out to him, it looked familiar, a gloved hand.... Who's gloved hand? Kaeya didn't want to grab a hold of it. Those words spoke in his head

"Fall into the abyss"
"He left you alone"
"The prince is waiting for you"

Kaeya touched the hand with a finger and hummed. Perhaps he should just continue to fall.

It's been a few weeks since he's last had a dream like that, Kaeya had been in the abyss for about a month or two now. Time goes quick here, you best keep up with it or you'll regret it.

Kaeya liked those dreams if anything. Seeing a familiar hand reach out to him, falling slowly and slowly as the face gets closer and closer every dream. Kaeya sometimes gets curious, he wants to see who the man is. Although Kaeya needs to fall into the abyss. He doesn't know why, but he has a gut feeling like he needs to, that he desperately wants to fall into the abyss, in the prince's grasp.

Kaeya sighed. Everything was still confusing. He got dressed per usual and got ready. Kaeya received word of Klee arriving in Khaenri'ah the other day. Today Aether wished to go to the palace and start to actual plans with Dainsleif. Kaeya would obviously be spending time with Klee.

Kaeya requested for a carriage to be ready quickly while he went to get the prince. "Your majesty the carriage will be ready in a moment" Aether nodded. Aether glanced at Kaeya. "Come here. " Kaeya obeyed and walked over to the desk. "Yes your majesty? "

Aether grabbed Kaeya by the collar and pulled him down, moving the eye patch, he saw a small smirk appear on the prince's lips. "Good, we will have things we must discuss tomorrow, and preparations that will be made. " Kaeya was confused but nodded. He covered his eye and walked out with the prince.

Albedo was currently brushing Klee's hair. "Albedo" She whined. "It's only Kaeya " "Actually it's Kaeya and the ruler of the abyss" "Still it's not like I'm going to be playing with them, right? " "No, Dainsleif and the prince will be far to busy talking but that still doesn't mean I don't want you to go out look like a mess"

"You really act like a mom sometimes. " "I just want the best for you. " Albedo kissed her forehead gently. "You're my little sister after all, I need to make sure you're taken care of well" Klee nodded. "Alright" Albedo didn't want to go through the struggle of putting up her hair so he left it down. "There, get dressed in the clothes you usually wear, I'll be right outside the door waiting. " Albedo got up and smiled as he left the room.

Once Klee got ready she walked out and smiled. "Okay I'm ready" "Let's get going then" Unlike Kaeya, Albedo really have any jobs or tasks he was given, Dainsleif didn't really make Albedo do anything either. His day was filled with taking care of Klee and occasionally cleaning up the rooms since he had nothing better to do.

Albedo enjoyed taking the role of a mom, he found pride in being able to take care of his little sister so well. Many of the maids sometimes help out with babysitting with Klee but other than that Albedo took full responsibility for his little sister, he asked for her so he'll take care of her.

Kaeya and Aether entered the palace. Dainsleif greeted them with a smile. "Welcome back, I'm sure you both must be hungry, I had snacks prepared just in case. " He spoke softly.

Aether nodded. "You best eat Kaeya, I still have something we must do today. " Kaeya didn't know what Aether was going on about but he nodded per usual. "Kaeya! " He heard someone call out. Kaeya smiled. "Oh? Is that who I think it is? "

Klee hugged Kaeya's leg and smiled as she looked up at him. "Kaeya! I'm so happy to see you okay! I missed you so so so so so much! " "I missed you too Klee" He smiled and picked her up.

Klee smiled back happily and saw Aether. He looked like the traveler's brother but the she remembered the Jean said the prince was the bad guy and took Kaeya and Albedo away! But then again it was also Dain who took Albedo away. But still! Klee was pretty scared of him.

"So this is his little sister? " Klee clung onto Kaeya. "Yup, don't scare her too much your majesty" Kaeya teased. "I wasn't trying to. " Kaeya sat Klee down but she immediately held onto his leg.

"I am Aether, I'm the ruler of the abyss, I didn't mean to scare you. " "Well the again you're the one who captured Kaeya and made him your servant or whatever. " Albedo walked in fixing his jacket. 'Good point " He mumbled.

"Don't worry Klee, he won't hurt you, if he does I'll kick him" Kaeya smiled at her. Klee nodded. "Uhm... I'm Klee, I'm Albedo's little sister" She said nervously, switching her hold to Albedo. "So I've heard. "

Aether cleared his throat. "Anyways we have things to discuss privately. " Dainsleif nodded, I have a room that we can go to. " Dain kissed Albedo's head gently. "We'll be back shortly" "Mhm" And with that the two left Albedo, Kaeya and Klee in the dinning room. "So you two are dating-" "Shut up" Albedo said, slightly embarrassed.

The two were watching Klee in her room. Kaeya was surprised at how the maids got this all prepared. "Fancy isn't it? I didn't think they'd make it this nice. " "I wouldn't have thought that either. " Albedo looked at Kaeya. "Can I check your eye? " "Eh? " "Your eye, I wanna see if I'm right about something. "

Kaeya shrugged and leaned down. Albedo moved the eye patch and hummed. "Seems like the prince got what he wanted. " Kaeya stood up and covered his eye once more. "Hm? " "I suppose you've almost completely fallen into the abyss. " "Oh"

Kaeya was shocked. He thought it'd take years but hey, he'll take this. Kaeya and Albedo had a discussion about the whole abyss while Klee drew some pictures.

Once the two were done discussing the plan Aether and Kaeya says their goodbyes and left. This must be been very important.

As they arrived Kaeya was brought to Aether's bedroom. Kaeya begged to the archons that it wasn't what he thought it was.

Aether made Kaeya sit down in the bed. "I'm glad the process didn't take longer.... Many people refuse the abyss but you allow it to take over you. " Aether looked him dead in the eyes. "How come? Is it because of me? Are you eager to become my male wife? "

Kaeya nodded. "I believe so, yes" Aether hums. "Very well then, during these days of preparation you won't just be a servant. " Kaeya looked at him, confusion visible on his face. "You'll be my boyfriend" Kaeya blushed a bit. "Yes your majesty. "

Aether leaned in and shared a kiss with the man below him. Kaeya kissed back and the two shared a nice kiss. Soon they pulled back for air. "You're mine now Kaeya...." "Yes... Your majesty" He panted. Kaeya felt tired, and so those eyelids fluttered close and he fell asleep.
