Kaeya was relaxing in a bath, six hours until the wedding. How exciting. Kaeya smiled softly as he rested back in the tub. Everything felt so nice, so calm, so relaxing. Honestly whenever he thought about walking down the aisle something made him happy, like he's just be given a raise, a promotion or just received the best news in his life. Kaeya didn't know he'd want something like this.

Kaeya soon got himself washed up and got out. After the wedding he was probably gonna take another bath with Aether, just them, sitting back, and just having a peaceful time after a perfect day. He'd noticed how these past months they seem to get closer. Kaeya enjoyed Aether's company, it was nice, it made him feel nice.

At first he thought he'd never submit to such a cold hearted person, and that he'd willingly charge in to defeat the prince. But here he was, sitting in his palace, getting ready for their wedding day, and didn't have a care in the world.

He brushed out his hair as he let out a soft hum. Kaeya had his bathrobe on at the moment, no need to get ready early. He missed his friends back at Mondstadt. It's weird to admit it but he misses Diluc as well. Really Kaeya never hated Diluc, it was more of Diluc hating him but Kaeya really never cared. Teasing Diluc made his day.

Kaeya layed down on his comfy bed and let out a nice hum. Kaeya started to wonder off into his thoughts. Should he feel bad for wanting to stay here with Aether forever? Should he want to be with the people who he knew and grew up with? Should he even be wanting this? He sighed. He didn't know how he should feel. All he knew is that he felt happy but guilty at the same time.

Six hours on the clock. Six hours to make their way to where Kaeya is being held. The abyss mage told them the location but also informed them it wouldn't be easy, and that the palace had it's guard up, and it was very, very up. They opened the entrance and made their way down the spiral staircase. If they went the way they were told they should be there in about 2 hours. And that's just what they needed.

Even if it took longer that was fine, they just needed to get there on time. Diluc, Jean, and Lisa walked down an old, dusted path. They were covered so attention wouldn't be drawn to them. It was quite dark but they managed. Diluc figured they'd have trouble navigating so he came prepared.

"Diluc what's in the bag? " "A torch, matches, bags of food, water, and other stuff. " "Well at least someone came prepared. " Lisa said nervously. "I didn't know the librarians were as inefficient as the knights" Diluc said coldly. "Now, now, let's focus on the main goal, getting Kaeya and trying to get the other two as well. "

Diluc sighed and nodded. "Fine, let's just get this done and over with" While making their way they were held back by monsters but not that much. Sadly their visions didn't work well in the abyss so Lisa sat back while the sword and claymore welders did their thing.

It was about three hours when they finally arrived, they took a seat and rested, planning their attack and discussing the plan behind the huge palace.

"Jean, you'll distract the guards, Lisa, you'll be at the carriage here, " He pointed at a spot on the map, "waiting for us, if anything happens. " He pulls out a hammer from his bag. "Use this to kill something" Lisa nodded. She could at least try and save herself.

"Jean, if you can, we can try and make plans on each side of the room where no one will be, that way it'll be easier for us to take down our main enemies. " "And those are? " Lisa questioned. "I'm glad you asked. " Diluc pulled out a separate piece of paper with all the enemies, the supposed prince was circled twice in red while the apparent Lord of Khaenri'ah was only circled once.

"I'll take down the Lord, he's more built than the prince, so I'll be leaving him to you Jean, can you handle that? " Jean nodded. "For our Calvary captain, Chief alchemist, and Klee, I'll gladly take on the prince. " Diluc nodded. "Good, now we sit and wait, in an hours we'll start to make our way in. " They all nodded.
