"Gabriel, I just wanted to thank you. anybody else would've laughed in my face when i asked them to help me run away. But you didn't."
He smiled and gave me a hug. "Adrienne, I wouldn't trade this experience for anything in the ocean. You gave me my beloved back. And for that I will forever be in your debt."
"As long as we pull this off, you won't owe me anything."
As we were talking, we had been swimming farther and farther away from the city. Eventually we reached Aaron and I' s pirate ship, and had to part ways. I got a little sad at this part.
"Hey," Gabriel say gently. "Don' t worry, this isn't the end. I have a feeling that we will see each other again someday. So don't think of it as goodbye, more like good luck and I'll see you soon."
I pulled myself together. "You're right. so good luck, and I'll see you soon."
And with one final hug, we went our separate ways.

I swam back to where Aaron and I had been separated after the ship sank, looking for any sign as to where they had gone. I spent hours swimming in circles for them, or anything in general with no luck.
"Poseidon, Lord of the seas, please help me find Aaron and William. I'll do anything, ANYTHING just to be with them. Please."
I waited for some kind of response and got nothing. Not one unusual curl of a wave, no magical ray of light shooting up out of the rays. Apparently Poseidon wasn't listening to my prayers today.
after looking for a few more hours, I gave up for the day and found an outcropping of rocks that I could sleep in.
When I awoke the next morning, the last thing I expected to see was Aaron's face hovering over mine. So naturally I was startled, and I screamed and jumped back into the water.
"Miss, miss, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to startle you! Please, I've never seen a mermaids and I was curious. if you want me to leave,I will."
What was he saying? "Aaron, are you okay? Don't you remember me?"
"I'm sorry miss, but I think you have the wrong man. My name's Daniel, not Aaron."
"Daniel, but you look so much like Aaron. Wait, you're not Aaron just pretending to be someone else, are you?"
"No miss, I'm really Daniel. I was out fishing when I noticed your tail, so I came to investigate, thinking that you were just a dolphin. then, seeing that you were a mermaids, I became excited ,and apparently woke you up."
I looked at him suspiciously, wondering whether I could trust him. The thing that finally made me believe him was his eyes. with Aaron, there was always something cautious in them. Daniel was open, trusting. That made me trust him.
"Well Daniel, it's a pleasure to meet you. I am Adrienne, and I need your help."
He nodded eagerly. "Anything, whatever you need."
"I need you to take me to the country of Lossvania, do you know where it is?"
His eyes lit up when I mentioned Lossvania. "You bet I do! I'm from there! it's actually not far, about a day's travel by sea. do you want me to take you there?"
"Oh Daniel, that would be wonderful! And if you can get me there quickly, I'll give you a kiss."
Daniel blushed at that. "Oh miss Adrienne, that won't be necessary, all I'll need is a thank you."
I laughed out loud. "Daniel, a kiss from a mermaids is a thank you. When you get a mermaids kiss, you get a wish, that you can use whenever you need it. Just say my name and I'll find you."
Daniel looked at me in wonder. "Wow, a kiss and I get a wish? That sounds, well it sounds amazing!"
I laughed again. I had laughed more with Daniel in a few minutes than I had in months back in Oceania. "Lead the way Daniel."

Daniel and I reached Lossvania just before sunset. When we neared the beach, I reached up to his skiff and stopped him. "This is as far as we can go Daniel. I wanted to thank you again for escorting me here."
"As, miss Adrienne, it was my pleasure, truly. I'm just glad that I got to spend the day with a person as pleasant as you."
Now it was my turn to blush. "I believe that you are due a kiss, are you not?"
Daniel leaned down enough for me to reach his mouth. I gently grabbed the sides of his face and placed a feather light kiss on his mouth.
"Goodbye Daniel; remember, if you ever need me, just call my name."
"I'll remember miss Adrienne. And don't forget about me."
"I'll never forget about you, you are a true friend." With one final smile, I slipped under the waves. It was time for me to find William and Aaron.

One more thing, I typed this chapter on my new kindle fire and so there might be some typos, but I tried to get them all, I promise! OK so I hope that you liked it, and I'll try to be more consistent with the rest of the updates, but no promises! Well, I guess that's it! Bye!
