ok so max can't swim, but i totally think David teaches him how over the summer.
max at first is scared of the water (but refuses to say that) so david shows him why the ocean is cool and max actually starts to like it.
he doesn't make an ocean camp, but sometimes they'll do more beach activities and david will get him books about the ocean.
also bonus headcanons,,
when he's older, Max works at an aquarium because he likes the animals and doesn't have to talk to people. he just gets to chill around sharks and penguins.
wait what is nikki and neil work there too-
ITD MAKE SENSE NIKKI LOVES ANIMALS, WHY NOT SEA LIFE!!! she'd totally love sharks. they're like wolves of the sea.
and neil would be like a tour guide cause he'd totally know all about sea life once he figure out max likes them.
