Ch.2 Roswaal mansion

~Y/n pov~

I woke up in an unfamiliar room. What happened yesterday?

My memories then came back to me. Is Subaru in a different room?

Groggily, I pulled myself out of the bed and left the room.

I wandered the hallways for a few moments until I spotted Emilia.

Approaching her, I tugged on her sleeve to get her attention.

(Oh you're approaching me?)

She turned to face me, tilting her head slightly down as I was slightly shorter than her, "Y/n you're awake. I'm glad."

"Where's Subaru?" I asked.

"Actually I was just heading to his room so just follow me."

We began walking in a comfortable silence until we stopped at a door.

When we opened the door, the two maids in the room turned to face us.

Subaru was sat up in the bed.

The maids looked to be twins with their hair parted to different sides. They were almost identical, however they had different hair colours.

One of them had blue hair and the other had pink hair. (Ah yes Blue Ram.)

"Listen to this, Emilia-sama." The blue haired maid started, "My dear sister was just violated by that man." She pointed at Subaru.

"Please listen to this, Emilia-sama." The pink haired twin spoke this time, "Rem was held prisoner and shamed by that man."

"Try not to tease him too much, okay?" Emilia stated walking towards Subaru.

I quickly followed after her.

"Very well, Emilia-sama. My sister is very sorry." The blue haired twin replied.

"Ren is very sorry as well." The pink haired twin stated.

Subaru thanked Emilia for healing him but she replied by thanking him for saving her.

My brother stretched before jumping out of bed.

"Subaru I'm glad you're okay." I smiled.

Subaru smiled back and ruffled my hair, "It seems you're doing just fine too."

Subaru went outside with Emilia but I decided to explore.

I opened random doors looking around, but it was mostly empty rooms.

Then, I stumbled across a library.

There was a girl with a pink dress and blonde pigtails sat on a chair near the door. She seemed to be reading a book.

When I closed the door behind me she looked up immediately and stared at me.

"Ah! Hi I'm Natsuki Y/n. Who are you?" I smiled.

"My name is Beatrice, I suppose. Why are you in my library?" She frowned.

"This is your library? I'm sorry. Is it okay if I read some books?"

She was silent for a few moments before she huffed, "Do whatever you want, I suppose. Just don't disrupt me."

I scanned the bookshelves until I found a book that seemed interesting enough.
