~Y/n pov~

Echidna told us that the rabbits are one of the great Mabeasts.

"The White Whale, the Black Serpent and the Great Rabbit." Echidna had told us what all three of them were.

"Great because there are so many of them?" I asked.

Echidna nodded, "They were created four hundred years ago by Daphne, the Witch of Gluttony."

"You've gotta be kidding me." Subaru complained, "We only just managed to defeat the White Whale not long ago."

"There's more." Echidna continued, "In fighting strength alone the White Whale is stronger but the Great Rabbit is more difficult to destroy."

"Why's that?" I sighed.

This was starting to sound impossible. There's an attack at the mansion and we have to somehow defeat the Great Rabbit.

Not to mention the fact that Garfiel doesn't really trust us.

It's not looking good.

"To the Great Rabbit, all other living things are food." Echidna explained, "It desires nothing other than to satisfy its hunger. All it leaves behind is a deserted field."

I furrowed my brows.

"Deserted...field?" Subaru's eyes widened in realisation.

Then the realisation hit me.

Did the Great Rabbit eat everything? Is that why there was no one there.

Subaru gagged and put his hand over his mouth.

I swallowed the bile building up in my throat.

"What makes the Great Rabbit so difficult is it's viability. A single on is capable to multiplying infinitely."

How are we meant to defeat this?

Echidna said she would let us meet Daphne.

"I wish you the best." She disappeared, leaving behind green particles that soon faded away.

Then in her place, was a young looking girl.

"Ah, we meet at last." A childish voice said.

"Huh?"

"What do you mean 'huh'? That's very rude you know." The girl huffed at Subaru.

"Are you Daphne?" I asked this but I already knew the answer.

She nodded, "I'm not Daphne! I'm Typhon. You're Y/n and...Baru?"

Where's Daphne then? She was supposed to be the one we were talking to.

"Baru?" My brother asked.

"Are you a bad guy, Baru?" Typhon hopped off her chair and stood right in front of him.

"A bad guy?" Subaru was lost.

Typhon hummed and put her hand out.

"You want me to hold it?" Subaru asked, placing his hand on hers.

"Sin can only be repaid with pain."

My eyes widened, "Wait, Subaru..."

His arm had disappeared.

The black haired boy jumped up and clutched at where his arm used to be, letting out a panicked yell.

"But it's doesn't hurt, does it?"

"What did you do?" I demanded.

She tilted her head at me, "Eh? What do you mean?"

My leg suddenly shattered as I fell to the ground.
