Namjoon is running across campus. He's late. Incredibly late.

His hour and a half class started about 30 minutes ago.

He's weaving through the sea of students who are aimlessly hanging around the common areas. They are effectively and annoyingly in his way. Must be nice to have had enough sleep and be on time.

Last night's spectacle caused Namjoon to lay awake longer than he anticipated. Before he knew it, it was 3 am and he needed to be up in 4 hours. Eventually sleep found him, however, it apparently wanted to hold onto him for a little while longer causing him to sleep through his alarms.

He stops running when he reaches the double doors of the classroom auditorium, taking a second to calm his breathing. He smooths out his hair and clothes before turning the knob.

He mentally curses because the class is packed with students. He knows it's going to be bitch finding an open seat. The professor sees him walk in and silently motions for him to join the class while still carrying out his lecture.

Slowly, he walks down the aisle scoping out a place to sit. Not surprisingly he spots a seat in the very first row because who wants to sit at the very front? He walks across the aisle making sure to duck while doing so as to not disrupt the other students' view and sits down.

Namjoon sighs in relief after his rear hits the cushioned seat. He pauses a moment trying to gather his bearings and breathing. He had just run all across the school to get here.

His gaze is focused forward at the board while the professor speaks. Right now, the professor is talking about his expectations of his students and important test dates coming up. He realizes he probably needs to note these things down.

He glances to the right of him before getting his school materials out of his bag. He stops in his tracks when he realizes who is sitting next to him.

She looks different than the person he had met that first night. She looks younger and more innocent. She didn't have a touch of make up on her. Her long black hair is pulled up in a clip. And she wears a simple tank top, baggy jeans, and converses.

Nonetheless, she still looks stunning.

Hyejin seemed to feel the heat of his stare and looks up to lock eyes with him. Her eyes widen in surprise. Clearly, she wasn't expecting to see anyone she knew let alone him any time soon. An emotion flashes in her eyes and she looks almost ashamed. She nods lightly in acknowledgement before diverting her gaze back to her notes.

Who knew the same girl that kept him up all night last night would be sitting next to him in class right now? What are the chances? The campus must be smaller than he thought, but the marathon he had to run to get here would prove him otherwise.

He pulls his notebook out of his bag and goes back to fish for a pen. Annoyingly for him, he seemed to have neglected packing one.

"Shit" He mutters under his breath as he feels around his bag again hoping one would just magically appear inside.

Suddenly, Hyejin holds a pen out in front of him. He glances at her and she doesn't take her eyes off the professor who's speaking to look at him. He takes the pen after muttering a small thanks and tries to focus on the rest of lecture.

Unfortunately, this proves to be difficult with Hyejin sitting mere inches from him.

He woke up this morning to an empty room. He honestly hoped he would because he wasn't trying to be present, let alone conscious, for her and Jimin's  "morning after" moment.

He wishes what happened last night was just a dream, but Namjoon knew better than to hold onto false hope. He knew he'd have to see Hyejin eventually. However, he had no idea it would be so soon.
