"Your list of debt with me continues to grow the longer I know you, Joon." She gives him a playful wink and carries on her way out of the library.
Namjoon watches her leave before looking back down at his work station.
There's an intensity in his eyes and unbridled, fiery motivation churning within him.
He thinks he just found some of the inspiration he was looking for.

Hyejin is laying on her bed as Wheein recounts her date with Jimin last night.
"And then he took me to see a movie which was a snooze fest... I'll spare you the details. But he felt so bad that we ended up buying a bunch of snacks, brought it back to my place, and binged Netflix instead. He didn't have to make up for anything but he did anyway!"
Wheein finishes her story as she looks past Hyejin, a dreamy expression plastered on her face.
Hyejin, on one hand, is over the moon for her friend for finding a great guy that she genuinely likes in this circus they call college. On the other, she is a bit jealous? No jealous isn't the right word. Maybe... empty? Longing?
She once had a honeymoon type relationship with Hyukwoo. It felt so long ago at this point.
He used to go above and beyond for her happiness. Made her feel special, worthy, and loved. The little but meaningful gestures, like always keeping an extra jacket in the car for her because he knew she would always choose fashion over functionality, meant the most to her.
He knew her habits, preferences, fears... He simply knew her.
So clouded by happiness, there was a point in their relationship where Hyejin was 100% certain that she will end up marrying him. And he made her believe that too.
But almost all of a sudden and all at once, things started to change between them.
Dates became rare. Phone calls and texts became scarce. They grew too comfortable with each other, reaching a point of monotony.
Each other's sheer presence was no longer special, but now expected.
He was no longer attentive to her needs and receptive of her wants.
It's so true that the longer you stay with someone, the more you take them for granted.
The grandeur displays of affection were now a chore because well... you no longer have to chase the other person anymore. The obligation to simply make the other happy doesn't feel like a requirement.
In time, Hyejin began to realize that Hyukwoo wasn't who she thought he was.
He was secretive, jealous, and accusatory.
No, she never strayed from their relationship no matter how unfulfilled she felt. But she can't confidently say the same for him.
Hyukwoo projected all of his guilt and faults onto Hyejin, accusing her of stepping out of their relationship multiple times and always becoming jealous when she would god-forbid even be around other guys.
Hyejin, being the type to love with all of her being and love hard, tried to look past his tantrums writing them off as him being protective and caring about her.
But her efforts were in vain, when Hyukwoo suddenly broke up with her only for her to find out some time later that he had been messing around with someone else when she went off to college.
