"How does this look?"

Jimin is standing in front of the mirror trying on a pirate costume.

Namjoon is at his desk mindlessly surfing the web and turns around upon his roommate's inquiry.

"I don't know how I feel about the red tights, but other than that, you look like a pirate so I guess the costume is doing its job." He chuckles.

"Well, too late to go back now. Guess I gotta own it. What are you going to be for Halloween?" Jimin asks dawning his eyepatch to complete the ensemble, evidently pleased with his costume.

Halloween festivities are in full swing. After a busy first couple of months of school, students were ready to let loose and release their stresses this weekend. Namjoon, however, could care less. Normally, he'd jump at the chance to go to a party or celebration, but after what happened with Yongsun last week he'd been pretty down.

As far as Namjoon is concerned, they are on a break. He was left deflated after their little debacle in the hallway.

*Flashback

"I think we need a break Sun." Namjoon says exasperated after minutes of painful silence.

Yongsun didn't answer. Didn't even look at him. Instead, she just turned on her heel and walked back to her dorm, leaving him out to dry.

He stood there in the middle of the hallway, debating whether or not to go after her. To take back what he said. But it's not that simple. It's not like Yongsun could take back what she said back in her dorm either, and truthfully her words still stung at his heart.

They needed time away from one another. Maybe this is just what they needed.

That night, he sought comfort in Jimin, and Hyejin, who turned up at their dorm after Jimin had texted her about how much a mess he was. She had saw the whole thing play out and upon Namjoon storming out earlier that night, suddenly wasn't so tired anymore. She wanted to be there for him.

Besides, Hyejin told him that after Yongsun came back to the dorm, she silently collected some of her things ignoring her questions, and went out. Hyejin assumed to seek solace in some of her friends. Otherwise, she would have stayed with the blonde.

Namjoon didn't think their 2 year anniversary would possibly be their last.

*End flashback

"I don't know... I don't think I'm up to going out honestly." Namjoon admits earning him a sad expression from the shorter.

"Come on Namjoon. I think it'd be good for you to go out and have fun. I hate seeing you so down man."

He knew that staying in and sulking would do him no good. He'd been missing in action all week, opting to stay isolated from his friends so that he wouldn't bring the mood down. It worked for awhile, but he soon grew to miss his friends' company.

"I don't know man. What if I run into Yongsun? I don't know if I can see her right now."

"You have us Namjoon. Besides, if we do see her we can ditch the party and hang at the dorm. We just want you to have fun."

Namjoon is so thankful for his little group of friends. He thanks his lucky stars that he made friends separate from Yongsun. It made this break a lot more bearable. Besides, Jimin was looking at him in such expectant anticipation knowing that he couldn't refuse. Namjoon's mouth breaks into a smile.

"Fine."

"Really?! Hell yeah!!! I'll text Hyejin." Jimin exclaims happily pulling out his phone.
