Five months later

The three of us Flame, Winter, and I woke up to our mothers waking us up and getting us ready for our new claw ceremony held at sun high, the three of us are now 6 months old. "Are you guys excited to be new claws?" Mom asked. "Yeah mom, I am excited." I said. "I...I'm thrilled." I said. "Whats wrong, sweetie?" Mom asked. "I really miss my parents, I hate that cat named Ghost." I cried. "It's completely okay to cry and to hate my brother, he did a horrible thing killing your parents and my mother and he deserved to be exiled from the colony." Mom said. "But you will protect me right?" I asked. "Of course I will. I won't let anything happen, I feel like your parents would want me to." Mom said. "Thanks mom." I said. "Could I go play with Flame and Winter?" I asked. "Yeah, sure but don't get dirty now." Mom said. "Okay mom." I said as I walked over to Flame and Winter. "Hey guys want to play?" I asked. "Yeah, what game?" Flame asked. "Tag." I said excitedly. "Okay tag your it." I said as I started running. "I'm going to get you." Winter said. We played tag until sun high. "It's time for our new claw ceremony." Flame said excitedly. Riverdusk took her place up on the wet rock ready to call a meeting. "Let all cats old enough to fish in our river gather beneath the wet rock for a meeting." Riverdusk said as everyone in the colony gathered around the wet rock alongside our mothers walking with us to the meeting. "Today we have three kittens ready to become new claws of the colony. Tiger, Winter, and Flame. Can Tiger please step forward to receive your mentor." Riverstar asked.
