One of my few NON Christian poems :)

The prince sits alone
Wanting his Juliet
Gets up and walks away
He's the one they forget
The people in the town
Are telling him to get real
All the wounds they give him
He's afraid he'll never heal
Walking though the town
Kicking dirt in front of him
Losing track of time
Then he hears a sound ahead of him
It's a girls voice
And she is sitting in the grass
He stands speechless
"Is she the one at last?"
Their eyes meet each other
Could this be true love?
THis could be is Juliet
The one he's been thinking of
He sits down next to her
They talk the day away
They become best friends
Always together every day
The prince starts thinking
"I can't live without her
Would she marry me?
A prince with no future?"
He plans a big night
But he cannot afford a ring
So when he gets on one knee
He says, "I can't give you everything
"But what I can give you
Is love and security
I love you so much
I'll give you every part of me
"When its just me
There's only 'ever after'
You add 'happily'
And save me from disaster
"Will you marry me?
I can't survive without you
You're my other half
And i will always love you"
She looked at the prince
And grabbed his hands with hers
She said yes and made their
happily ever after
