Beauty

I've been called ugly, worthless, stupid

I've been told that I'm no good at all

Society distorts the image of beauty

Telling me to copy the models in the mall

Without the perfect face I'm an outcase

If I lack the ideal body I'm in the lowest class

My hips should be thinner while my lips need to be bigger

The world destroys the beauty of a girl

But true beauty isn't found

In society all around

It's in the eyes of my God

Seen from my Creator above

I'm made in His image

Making my life worth living

My Jesus died for me

He died for this body

Telling myself "I'm not enough"

Rejects my Saviors love

Saying "I'm not worht anything"

Turns my back on the King

God died for you and me

So we could find beauty

In the face of Jesus

In the heart of Jesus

You are beautiful
