The Camping Trip * A Hayes Grier Fanfic*

Chapter 3

Alli's POV

We are half way there and I'm shaking. I don't even know why I'm so scared, I shouldn't be Hayes won't let me get hurt.

"Al you OK? Your shaking." He asks. "Yeah I'm fine, I'm just cold." I say as Hayes puts his arm around me and pulls me closer. I lay my head on his shoulder.

About a half an hour later we were here. I just realized that I'm the only girl here. Great. Eh I'll be fine. We get out and unload mine and Hayes bikes. Yes I have a dirt bike it was a birthday present from Elizabeth last year and I am just now learning how to ride it. Don't judge. The only things I know how to do are fill the tank and start it. So I start it and see if it needs gas. It doesn't so I'm good.

"Hey kids, I'm going to just sit over here and watch y'all." We hear Johnnie yell. We nod our heads and Hayes starts telling me the basics while I sit on the bike.

Once he was done telling me everything he told me to try and ride it down to the tree and back. I rev it up and ride down to the tree and back no problem.

"You did it!" He yells. I just smile.

"I'm ready to ride." I say. He looks at me wide eyed.

"Are you sure?" He says and I nod my head.

"OK but be careful. I'm serious Al." He says and I hug him.

"I will. I promise." I say holding up my pinky for a pinky promise. He smiles and wraps his pinky around mine. I let go and ride off. I start going really fast. I see a ramp. I'm going on it. I I ride over to the ramp and get ready. I see people starting to line up and watch me. Uh Dafuq. Whatever. I start. I'm up! I'm pretty high so i decided to do a back flip. I do it and land! I want to do it again. I go back around and once the people see me they start clapping. Why? I see Hayes ride up to me.

"Al that was amazing but I scared you were going to get hurt. It was your first time and you do a back flip! That's crazy!" He says. I hug him. He hugs back.

"Im fine Hayes." I say.

"YO Hayes are you gay now or something?" I hear some random kid yell. Hayes starts getting angry.

"Hayes calm down. Ill show him." I say smirking. He looks at me with a questioning look. I take off my helmet and look at all the boys and their mouths were dropped. I'm guess they haven't seen a girl do a back flip on a dirt bike before.

"Sorry" I hear the kid yell at Hayes. I start laughing. "Close y'all mouths before you catch fly's." I say and walk back to Hayes.

"Lets ride." I say with a smile and put back on my helmet. We race away.

Its like 4 hours later and we have been riding all day! I had so much fun! Me and Hayes are currently loading up our bikes because we have to go home. The dude that called Hayes gay earlier today starts running over.

"Hey, I'm sorry for earlier today I didn't realize you were a girl and a very pretty girl. My name is Mark. What's yours?" He asks. "Alli and thanks." I say putting my hair behind my ear because I took it down like two hours ago because my hair was pulling.

"Welcome. Can I have your number so we can maybe hang out sometime?" He asks scratching the back of his neck. I say yes and we switch phones.

Once that was done we gave each others phones back and he walked away. Then Hayes walks up.

"Who was that?" He asks.

"Mark" I say and he looks at me weird. "What?" I say giving him a weird look back.

"Nothing." He grumbled and walked to the truck. I looked at him weird again.

"Hey Johnnie you ready?" I ask. He nods his head yes and we get in the truck.
