Chapter 30

Alli's POV

A week later

"Alli, wake up, time for school." My mom says as she wakes me up. I groan and open my eyes slightly.

"Do I have to go?" I pout.

"Yes." She says, walking out of my room. I grab my phone and look at the time. 6:30. I lay in bed for about 10 minutes. My bus come at 7:45 and I also don't need much time to get ready. I get up and walk over to my mirror. I look at my self and cringe. I look like Chewbacca pooped out Lil' Wayne. I look for something to wear. This would be so much easier if Hayes were here, he would just pick out my clothes for me. I sigh. I grab a Harry Potter shirt Shawn got me for my birthday and throw it on. Find some jeans, throw those on. Look for socks, can't find any. I give up. I do all my other stuff and my phone starts to go off. I expect it to be Hayes so I answer,

"Hey Babe." I say as I answer.

"Whoa there Alli, check the caller ID." Says the person. I look at the caller ID and it says 'Danni Boy'. I laugh to my self. I put the phone back to my ear.

"Sorry. I was expecting a call from Hayes." I say. He laughs.

"I can tell." He says.

"So what you need bro?" I say.

"What? I can't just call my best friend to say hi?" He says.

"No." I say. We both laugh.

"You're right. I need help." He says.

"With?" I ask.

"Sky." He says.

"What you need?" I ask, with a smirk.

"She has been acting weird since.." He drags out.

"Since?" I ask.

"We kissed." He sighs.

"Well its probably because she doesn't want to feel like friends with benefits. Have y'all kissed anymore since then?" I ask, resuming my search for socks.

"Maybe.." He says.

"How many?" I ask.

"I didn't know I was supposed to count." He says. I laugh.

"Like how much since then Daniel." I say.

"A lot.." He says.

"Then you need to make a move to let her know that you like her! She is going to start drifting away." I say, putting on the socks I finally found.

"Ok. Thanks Alli, I know I can always count on you for help." He says.

"Welcome. I got to go my bus will be here soon." I say.

"Ok bye." He says.

"Bye." I say, hanging up. I grab all my stuff and run up stairs just in time for the bus. I walk out the door and onto the bus.

At School

I walk in and sit in my usual spot with Maria and Riley. Haliea moved and we didn't leave off on a good note so we aren't really friends with her anymore.

"How was your Birthday?!" Riley asks.

"Has Hayes asked you out yet?!" Maria asks. I blush and look away. I look back up and both Riley and Maria have their jaws dropped.

"HE DID! WELL HE DID SOMETHING YOU NEVER BLUSH!" Maria yells. Everyone looks at us. I give her a death glare. I look and people are still staring.

"Can I help you?" I yell. They all go back to what they were doing.

"WHAT DID HE DO!!??" She whisper shouts. Then the bell rings. "Not again." She whines. I pat her head and stand up.
