Chapter 27

Alli POV

Skipping to two days before Alli's Birthday

So its the week of my birthday and Hayes cant even come to my birthday. He has some stupid tests to take. I'm getting upset because we haven't talked as much since we told each other that we liked each other. we still talk every day but not as long as we used to and we don't know what to talk about anymore. What if he doesn't actually like me? Maybe he just said that to not hurt my feelings.

I'm sitting in my room, alone, literally getting upset over nothing. I'm just over thinking. I hope. I get up and start packing my bag for St. Joe. I get my bag out and my phone starts ringing. I go to pick it up and its Hayes wanting to Skype. I answer and set it to where he can see me walking around my room.

"Hey babe. What are you doing?" He says, plopping onto his bed.

"Packing for St. Joe." I sadly.

"I'm sorry I cant go." He says, sadly.

"Its ok. School before me." I say, grabbing some shirts and throwing them on my bed.

"But I don't want school to come before you." He says. I smile as I have my back facing the camera so he cant see.

"But it does." I say. "After my birthday we can find a day you can come down and it could be my delayed birthday party." I say.

"Perfect. Just like you." He says, smiling.

"Thanks PooBear." I say, even though that I still don't believe it.

"You still don't believe it. Do you?" He says.

"God you just know me way too well."

"How come?" He asks.

"I don't know I just don't." I say, folding some shirts.

"How am I going t get it through your head that your are the most beautiful girl that I have ever seen in my whole life and that you are perfect just the way you are?" He says.

"I don't know, but if you know me as well as I think that you do, you'll find a way." I say, putting my shirts in my bag.

"I will." He says.

"I know." I say, smiling.

"There is my favorite smile." He says. I laugh and look away. I walk over and grab my pants.

"How was your day?" I ask him.

"Crappy." He says.

"Why is that?" I ask.

"Because I wasn't with you." He says.

"Oh my gosh you're so cheesy!" I say, even though I enjoy it.

"Oh shut up, you love it." He says, laughing.

"Maybe." I say, putting my pants into my bag. Then I see a text pop up on my phone from Shawn. SHAAWWWWNNN!!! I grab my phone and look at the text.

From: My Shawn - I'm coming down to surprise Brook! See you soon!

I squeal and set my phone back down.

"Who was that?" Hayes asks getting overprotective.  

"It was just Shawn, calm down. He is coming to see Brook." I say.

"Oh, that exciting." He says.

"You ok baby?" I ask.

"Just sad, mad, and tired." He says with a sigh.

"How come?" I ask.

"Sad because I'm tried and I want to cuddle with you. Mad because I cant cuddle with you. Tired because of life." He says.
