Chapter 11

Alli's POV

I wake up and realize I have school tomorrow. SOMEONE KILL ME PLEASE!! I get up grab my phone and see a text from Hayes. It says "Good Morning Beautiful", I smile. I text him back. I walk up stairs and see my mom and everyone else up. Also Steve's kids are home. He has a daughter and a son. Josh and Mackenzee. Kenzee is 18 and Josh is 12.

"Go and get dressed. We are going down to Alton to help unload. We will get donuts in the way." Steve says. I go back downstairs and get dressed in a pair of jean and I look for a shirt. I open my bag and see one of Hayes hoodies. I smile, grab it and put it on. I put on socks and my riding boots. I grab my ear buds and shove them into my pocket. I walk upstairs. Everyone gets into my mom's van and we are in our way.

******skipping the hour long car ride*******

I turn off my music which has been blaring in my ears since we got in the car. I get out and Molly runs over to me. I bent down and pet her. Then she runs off to have someone else pet her. I walk over to the trailer and grandpa is already standing over there with the ramps set up. He gives me all the keys and tells me to be careful. I hop on the trailer and start backing off the fourwheelers and pulling them into the barn.

Once I am done they have the tents and everything put away. Grandpa closed up the barn and locks it up. We go to grandma's because she is having a Sunday dinner. I sit in the living room and watch NCIS with grandpa.

Now it's about 4 and people start arriving for dinner. My aunt Jack Jack (Jackie) (A/N I have weird nicknames for names for my aunt's since I was little so get over it. Thank u) walks in with John her boyfriend hopefully soon to be husband. I'm a little closer with her than Wawa. She and John walk over to me.

"Sup baby chicken." John says coming over and hugging me. I laugh.

"Nothing much just missing Hayes as always." I say and he nods, walking off to help with setting up dinner. Then Jack Jack walks up and hugs me.

"So I hear you have a boyfriend and it isn't Hayes." She says and we sit down on the couch. I run my hair through my hair and let out a breath of relief.

"Yeah but I don't think it's gonna last but I still really like him but just a little less." I say.

"Boys are something. Aren't they?" She says.

"You got that right!" I say and we laugh.

"Well anything with Hayes?" She asks. I smile.

"I found out he has his eye on someone." I say. She smiles.

"Really? Did he say who?" She asks. I shake my head.

"He said a girl who is beautiful but doesn't know she is. She is really funny and fun to be around. She has a book and crime show kinda like me." I tell her and she nods taking it in.

"That sounds like you." She says, getting up and walking away. I make a weird face and look at my sister who was eavesdropping. She nods telling me she agrees with Jack Jack. He can't like me. He just can't.

By this time everyone has arrived and the food is done. Me, Brook, Kenzee, and Josh sit at our own table.

"So everyone is saying you have a boyfriend. Who?" Kenzee asks. I sigh.

"Ian." I say blankly, poking at my food.

"You don't sound very happy about it." She says.

"Should I be? I make everyone upset every time it's brought up and especially Hayes." I say, dropping my fork on my plate and leaning back in my chair. I let out a huge sigh.
