cute(ish) oneshot before diaaster

Kageyama woke up on a cold winter morning and slid out of bed. They were finally on break and he and Hinata had plans that day.

The two had been doing a lot together lately, building snow men and drinking hot cocoa on the couch.

Sometimes if they were particularly bored, the boys would play volleyball in snow in a court they built out of snow. Hinata always ran into the net and knocked it over so Kageyama set up the real one for less anger.

Both boys were growing more in love everyday. Every kiss brought them closer together, getting lost in the feeling of being with each other.

Kageyama checked his phone for a "yes i'm awake" confirmation text from Hinata. Nothing.

Hinata looked up from his phone and into his very messy room. He hadn't had time to keep it clean with makeup work for over break, volleyball videos, and of course Kageyama.

His mom told him last night that if he planned on going anywhere, his room would be cleaner than ever. son of a bitch

He couldn't cancel but there was no way he would be able to finish the whole room by noon. it was already 10!

He was going to have to push his plans at least an hour. Which sucked because Hinata was super excited to to ice skating.

Hinata felt bad that Kageyama was going to come over and see his messy room. He was so dead.

Kageyama arrived a few minutes after his text. he ran because if Hinata was pushing their plans his room was a disaster.

He knocked on the door and was quickly let in by his little ball of orange hair and energy. A quick embrace turned into a long deep hug against a wall. It took them 3 extra minutes to get upstairs.

Kageyama was immediately disgusted by the state of Hinata's room. There were dirty clothes piled high, dishes everywhere, and the bed... wasn't made.

There were other issues but the main 3 were what Kageyama took on. A cup of molding apple juice that was unsalvageable, tons of loads of laundry, and fresh sheets later, the room was completely clean. The floor was vacuumed and back to a not revolting state.

Hinata flopped on the bed and Kageyama followed suit. That made Hinata happy, Kageyama made Hinata happy.

He felt a big arm reach over and pull his body close. The two sat in Hinata's bed cuddling for a half hour, drifting to sleep between soft kisses.
