Hinata heard the last bell ring. It was time for practice.

He ran out of the room and went straight to the locker room. Hinata burst past a group of girls in his class, one of them called out for him to come back. He wondered why they were even trying to speak with him, then remembered that Yachi once told him that the girls in his class thought he was cute. Hinata rolled his eyes and kept running to the locker room

When he got into the locker room, everyone was changing, except Kageyama. He wasn't there. Hinata felt his heart sink to the floor, Kinoshita walked up to him, placed a hand on his shoulder, and gave a look that easily said, "sorry he's not here buddy".

"Alright, you lackluster first years! Today we are going to have a practice match. You guys get Tsuki and me on your team, which gives you a pretty decent advantage because of my awesomeness"

Hinata began to block out Tanaka and his mindless 'leadership'. He was more occupied with figuring out where Kageyama had gone. It was killing Hinata that it could be his own fault that Kageyama wasn't at practice. Hinata worried that he was going to be the reason Kageyama gave up the only thing he truly cared about.

Hinata asked to go to the bathroom before the practice match began. He didn't want to play and really just wanted to sit in there and cry. He heard the sounds of volleyballs slamming to the ground followed by groans from the first years and cheers from Asahi who was allowed to play on the opposing team for a challenge.

Hinata felt a tear roll down his cheek, wiping it away with the collar of his shirt. He let out a soft laugh, mom would kill me for that, she always says it stretches out the shirt. Hinata sighed in relief from his inner turmoil and realized that the gym had gone quiet. Even if the practice match had ended, there should have been some noise. He stood up and walked out of the bathroom.

He looked around and there was no one in the gym. There were volleyball's scattered around the floor and water bottles left by the bench. It was as if everyone was playing a game and just disappeared. He walked out to the center of the court and stood there. Suddenly he remembered what happened that the time he had been on that court. Kageyama and his fight.

"I just want things to go back to normal. You hear me, universe! No more fights, no more stupid relationships, just volleyball, and Kageyama.." Hinata was suddenly aware of the fact that he was thinking out loud. Very loudly thinking out loud.

He stood there for a moment praying that everyone was just going out for food instead of practice. Then got upset that his team didn't take him with them to get any sort of food. He felt his stomach growl and remembered that he ate all of his snacks in a nervous habit. Dammit. I don't even have cash on me for the vending machine.

Hinata walked over to where everyone's water and bags were. He didn't see anything that looked edible left out. He sat down on the bench and crossed his arms. Hinata was upset, angry, and alone.

"Oi- dumbass.... Don't look so sad to see me..."

It was Kageyama, standing in the doorway holding roses, chocolate, and a little teddy bear holding a big heart. He was fully extending his arms and displaying the items for Hinata, avoiding eye contact by throwing his head to the side and closing his eyes tight.

Hinata ran straight over to him, going in for a hug, and causing both of them to fall straight to the floor.
