"Everything okay?" Reg announced himself and came in my room.
"I'm fine," I shrugged.
"What did you say to Dorcas?" He asked curiously and made himself comfortable in my bed.
I couldn't help but smile, remembering her horrified expression after threathening her. "I told her if she ever upsets Ruby again I'll crucio her."
Reg chuckled at that. "Did it go alright with Peter?"
His smile was dropped while he waited for my answer."Yeah. I think he needs some time to process everything but I told him we'll never be anything more than friends," I told Reg.
"Really?" He answered, slightly delighted.
"Yes?" I furrowed my brows at his exited face.
"Well I just mean that it's nice that it went well," Reg tried to brush it off.
"Yeah well, it wasn't easy, I told him about my past," I sigh and sat next to Reg.
"Why?"
"I didn't know what else to do. That way I could be sure he'd never want me the same way again. My past is like a shadow lingering on top of me, driving away anyone that cares about me," I looked down on my lap, at my palms.
Reg moved his hands next to mine, to show me I wasn't the only one with baggage. His scars were more clean, and smooth, thanks to the healing spell Orion usually casted afterwards. But mine were rough around the edges, and there were more. My scars reached all the way down to my wrists.
Reg started to draw circles on my palms in soothing patterns. I looked at his face but his gaze was unwaveringly on my scars. I didn't feel uneasiness like I usually did when someone looked at my scars. Then Reg moved my hands up, to his lips, and he pressed a gentle kiss on each one of my scars. My cheeks heated up at the affectionate act.
"If I could, I would kiss away all of your scars," Reg whispered against my palms.
"I know," I said quietly and laid my head on his shoulder.

"Is he still mad at me?" I questioned Remus while we were studying at the courtyard.
"You know Sirius, he's just being dramatic. I don't think he was ever mad at you," Remus shrugged and showed me a paragraph from the book which told me the answer to question number eight.
"He hates me because I hurt Peter," I shook my head at him. "He warned me about it, he knew all along that he was too good for me, that I would ruin it eventually," I frowned.
"That's not true Zara," Remus insisted, closing the textbook. "Peter is fine, and you didn't ruin anything. You just weren't meant to be together, I think Peter has realized that already. He loves you but I don't think he ever loved you in that way," he assured.
"Are you sure? He seemed hurt when I last talked to him," I uttered.
"Yes, he's fine and Sirius will never hate you. And even James has complained how he misses you, in between crying about Lily saying she'll never go out with him," Remus rolled his eyes.
