Jacob had been serious about his offer. I was free to pick a car, it doesn't matter which one. The scrapyard is big and there are enough cars that will be a good pick, but I am looking for something special. A car that would get everyone's eye. For so far, I didn't succeed and for hours I have been wandering around.

Then, my eye fell on something I haven't seen before. A yellow Lamborghini Countach LP400. I knew because I have seen the car before on a car show, Jacob took me last year. I approached and ran my hand over the dirty roof. I haven't seen this car before and somehow wondered why Jacob never mentioned this car.

I grabbed the door handle and opened it,— hopping inside. Besides, it was very dirty, the leather seats were fine and so were the gear stick and steering wheel. I ran my fingers over the midsection of the steering wheel and a symbol appeared. It looked like some sort of head to me, but it's a logo I have never seen in my entire life before.

I stared at it for a moment. What would it mean? Why would the makers put it there? My questions faded as I hopped out and checked the tires. All four are flat so I need to change them for sure. Hopping back in,— I found the keys in the intake of the car which surprised me. It felt like someone abounded this car here without our knowledge.

I turned the key, but the car didn't even make a sound. Perhaps the car is broken, maybe there's not even an engine. I popped the hood and got out again. Strangely enough, the engine is way more modern than the car itself. A very powerful engine I have never seen in my entire life before. It's the only part of the car that's not dirty and seemed to be perfectly fine but yet, the car wouldn't start.

I walked back to the house. "You never told me about the Lamborghini Countach LP400 in your backyard..."

Jacob turned around with a frown. "I don't have a Lamborghini... haven't you mistaken it?" He asked. "Come and see yourself..."

He followed me some slower and was just as surprised as I had been. "It's indeed a Lamborghini Countach LP400 but I can't remember bringing this one in. I would have remembered it and patched it up..." he said,— walking a circle around it. "Have you seen the engine? I have never seen it before and it's in better condition than the car itself. It looks futuristic even..."

He had a look himself and gritted his teeth. Jacob has that habit for as long as I know. "This is interesting, we should try to charge the battery of this beast... let me get my car..." I nodded and watched him walk off. I still couldn't believe a car like this is standing in the backyard for I don't know how long. Since I am a little kid, I have loved cars and especially Lamborghini. Chase had given me posters and magazines about them for my birthday.

Jacob's black pick-up truck appeared and he cut the engine,— hopping out. I helped him connect the two cars so we can charge the battery of Lambo. I hoped it would work, I wanted to drive around the U.S in this beauty. It would make my dream complete.

I hopped in the Lambo and tried to start the engine. Once, twice and at the third time, when I already started to lose hope, the engine roared to life like a beast. A shock went through the whole car as if it jolted awake. I turned off the engine again and hopped out. "Guess you have luck with this handsome..."

I hummed and looked back at the car for a moment. "You found the car, so you can have it..." he told me before turning around. A wide smile formed on my lips and I made a small jump in excitement. I spent all day patching up this car. Giving it a new paint job, cleaning it and new tires.

There's just one thing that I couldn't explain. I felt uncomfortable as if someone was watching me. It's not a nice feeling. It felt evil... especially when I was hanging around the car, I felt someone's presence but there's no one around. Ever since we started the engine, I have felt it.

I stepped back and studied the car. Is it possessed?

I believe it is ghost stories, but it just felt weird to think a car is possessed. I needed some space so I left the car behind but I felt watched and it made me paranoid and uncomfortable.

"So, when are you going to leave?"

I yelped and jumped a little. I hadn't expected Jacob to be in the house and I was lost in a chain of thoughts. I hadn't heard him either. "I was thinking about this week... just want the car to be fully functional... there are still a few little things I need to change..." Jacob gave a small nod and sat down.

"So, where are you going first?"

"Well, there are some big cities, like New York, Washington DC but also Miami and San Diego I want to see... I was thinking about heading to the west coast first and then going to the east... if I make it in time..."

Jacob smiled at me and got up. "I know you will... this is your dream and now you have your dream car as well. I nodded, "true... just feels so... unreal. I never in a million years thought I would reach this point and..." my voice died down. "This town had some many memories... good and bad ones and I am not sure if I am happy to leave this place or not..." I told him honestly and met his hazel brown eyes. "I think you should make new memories... this place has nothing to offer you anymore..."
