It was already late, but Sunstreaker made a quick stop at a gas station to refuel his tank. He told me that after he changed his alt-mode, his Energon levels are so low he didn't have enough to drive on. I stared at his dashboard, quite tired from the journey and I didn't even have to drive, I could barely imagine how Sunstreaker was feeling. I had to admit, he looked very awake for someone who's not drinking any coffee or energy drinks...

He hopped back in after paying and scowled. "Why on earth is gas so expensive?" he muttered mostly to himself while starting his engine. "On Cybertron, everything was different and better organized!" he muttered while he started his engine and drove off. I couldn't help but chuckle at his horrible mood. It was kinda cute to hear him talk to himself about things that bothered him.
Sunstreaker didn't appreciate it and shot me a nasty glare. "What?!" he snapped,-- his eyes darkened. I quickly shook my head and sat back. "You need to stay awake, Skye! You need to tell me which way I have to go!" he said. "Sunstreaker, it's late... can't we make a short stop somewhere?" I asked tiredly. "And you don't even have to drive!" he exclaimed. I grumbled mostly to myself about his loud voice and shut my eyes. He poked me quite hard and shot me a nasty glare. "Stay awake and tell me where to go!" he hissed.

Annoyed, grabbed my GPS and studied it for a moment. "Just keep going this way..." I muttered and crossed my arms to keep myself warm. "Fine... if you are really that tired then we'll make a stop, but I'll wake you up at seven!" he warned. I nodded, already happy with seven hours of sleep. He sped up and drove into a town after taking the exit. I got a room and Sunstreaker's holoform decided to follow me. I am too tired to argue and lay in bed quickly. The yellow mech shut the curtains and surprised me as he joined me. I didn't complain, his body is so warm. I laid a little closer toward him and rested my cold feet against his warm legs.

He growled, "femme you are frozen!" he snapped annoyed. "I know..." I pressed my hands on his eight-pack and felt him jolt a little. He quickly removed my hands and forced me to lay on my side so he could curl his body around me. I had never had anyone laying like this against me but it was nice and made me feel less lonely. For a moment, he rested his head on mine and tightened his grip on me. "You are so hot..."
He chuckled, "I know... I am the hottest mech on earth!" he purred. "I mean your body... like... your body feels warm. That's what I meant... you have a warm body," I said and was glad he couldn't see my blush. I shut my eyes and fell asleep. I was awoken the next day by Sunstreaker. "Skye... wake up..." it was surprisingly gentle I may add. I perked my head up and as soon as he saw I was awake, he slid out of bed. Immediately, my source of warmth was gone and I shivered. "Come on... let's go!" he said, walking over to the bathroom to start his daily routine.

It took us only 15 minutes to dress up fully, but as I walked outside, someone called for me. Sunstreaker turned around as well. "Who are you?" I asked. The guy around twenty, fully covered in tattoos and piercings strode over to me, tilting his head in the air. Underneath his leather jacket, he wore a holster with two guns. "I know who you are!" he said, using slang. "Probably..." I replied hoarsely and did a step back. "What do you want!" Sunstreaker growled. "Who are you?" I repeated. "Call me Curtis!" he said.

"Alright 'Curtis' what do you want?" Sunstreaker asked, emphasizing his name mockingly. "Chase is searching for you..." he said. I shivered, "you are friends with him... isn't it?" I asked. He nodded and smirked. "Nice to finally meet the traitor!" he said, his mood changes quickly, just like Sunstreaker's mood changes quickly. Sunstreaker pushed Curtis away from me. "Stay away from her!" he snapped and glared at the gang member. "You can't hide forever, Skye!"

"She can! I'll kill Chase myself!" Sunstreaker snapped and shove him against the wall. "Piss off and leave us alone!" he snapped before throwing him aside. Sunstreaker grabbed my hand and dragged me with him. It came not only as a complete surprise but also a shock when I got shot through my shoulder. I uttered a scream and collapsed on the floor. Sunstreaker uttered a roar and turned around with light speed, throwing his golden eight-inch long knife at Curtis. The guy fell backward on the floor with a knife sticking out of his scalp.

Furiously, Sunstreaker walked up to the guy to get his knife back. 'Damn he handy with his knife," I thought while Sunstreaker strode over to me and knelt down. "Come on... we need to get back to base so Ratchet can clean this up..." he said. I groaned in pain as he pushed a part of my shirt down. "You have an exit wound... so that's good..." he said and helped me to his alt-mode. "Sunny... how did he find us?" I whispered. "Shh... just calm down okay?" he asked as he opened his door for me. I hopped in and grabbed my backpack off the floor, searching for something to stop the bleeding. Sunstreaker hopped in and sped off quickly. "It hurt..." I whispered. "I know... I know.... in about six hours we are at the base... me a little shorter, right?" he asked. I grabbed the GPS and handed it to him. After a short glance, he handed it back to me. "Okay... just a few more hours and then we arrive at the base, Skye..."
