Myla's POV

The visit with Kurt was short. I told him that I might be in love with one of my friends, Veronica. I also told him about the little boy, Calum, who brought me the If You Are Sad and You Know It book.

I hope Andy will visit tomorrow. He probably won't since he is on tour. The same goes for Juliet.

But even with out them visiting I am pretty sure that I won't be lonely. Kurt promised that he will stop buy, not tomorrow but the day following tomorrow. So until then I can hang out with Bubba, Calum, Maya and Veronica.

I sit down at the lunch table, putting my tray of food in front of me. I like eating here. It's much, much, much better than eating at the orphanage. Because there isn't much noise and I sit with my friends here. Not back at the orphanage where I sat with my 'friends'.

I wait for Bubba, Maya and Veronica to go and get there food, before I start eating. Mother always said that no matter where you are, you always have to use your manners.

Once they all sit down I begin to eat, listening to them talk about there home life.

"I mean, it's not like my parents don't care about me, it's I feel like they wouldn't miss me if I was dead."

"I would miss you if you died." I spoke."In fact, I would miss all of you."

What I said was true. Life wouldn't be the same for me if anyone of them died. It would kill me.

"We'll thanks, but when people say that they would miss me if I was dead..." Maya began."It makes me feel like what they are saying is fake. Like they are only saying it to shut me up."

Bubba and Veronica nod. I want to say something but I don't know what to say. I also don't want to say any thing because they all seem to agree with Maya's words.

"Hey I thought of some thing that we all can do." Bubba said, putting a smile on his face.

"Then say it." Veronica said, picking up one half of her ham and cheese sand which and put it in her mouth.

"Dubque."

"Isn't that a city in Iowa?" I asked him.

What does Dubque have to do with anything?

"Yes, but this is... It's different. Lets use it as a saying to stay alive and do risks." Bubba explained.

"Isn't that like YOLO?" Veronica asked, setting the crust of the half sand which she just ate and picked up the other half.

Bubba shook his head."Dubuqe is just a reason to live and to be happy."

I look between Maya and Veronica.

"Let's do it." I say.

If we all go by this Debuque thing, it should keep them all alive. Hopefully. I mean, I am all for it. I just hope Maya and Veronica are too.

I will have to tell Dr.Kurt about this Dubuqe thing. He should like it.

I mean he should. Dubque is a way to keep us alive.
