I texted my Mom just to tell her where we were going to be, she didn't like the idea of me spending a whole lot time with Beau, but she has to understand I need melanie to have a dad

Ben and I's first date didn't go as planned, Melanie got sick. Then the week after that, I got sick. The week after that I had to work, and the week after that he had to work.

We have been dating for a month now, it was good, but he was the jealous type. Jealous of the stupid rumors about me and James, who are just friends, and jealous of me and Beau, which I don't get.

"melanie," I said shaking her, "mel, wake up baby girl," I lightly shook her trying to wake her

She groaned, "5 more minutes,"

"No honey we have to get you dressed for your play date/sleepover with Ashley," I said referring to emily's daughter, the emily I worked with.

She got up and dressed her self while I packed her bag, it was 3pm, she had taken a nap. I put in her clothes and toothbrush while she took her dolls.

"I'm ready," She said, "I'm gonna make you a sandwich," I told her taking her bag going down the stairs he following behind me.

"Can I have a ham and cheese please," She giggle as that rhymed. "sure," I giggle with her

I made her the sandwich, "can I get a ham and cheese please?" Jason laughed also because it rhymed, god it's like Jason's 5 not 20.

"Here mel and make it yourself I'm leaving," I said to him

 "Where? With who?" He questioned

"I'm going to take Melanie to Emily's and I'm going to the mall with James and Jai for Ariana's birthday gift," I said

"With 2 guys?" he rolled his eyes

"Yes," I spat, "Ariana's boyfriend and James," I rolled my eyes

"rumors spreading you and James have a thing," He told me

 "Do you think I don't know that," I said packing my purse, "Me and James have gotten close but you know I'm dating Ben," 

"Yeah sadly I do know Rissa, I don't trust him," He said taking a bite of an apple

 "You don't trust anyone!" I screamed at him

"Yeah I'm trying to protect you Rissa," He screamed back

"I'm old enough to protect my self Jason, You're not my dad," I shut the door behind me and stumbled down the stairs into my car

"Mom, can I go see daddy for a little before I go to Ashley's," She asked with begging eyes

"Why babe?" I ask her confused, "I just, I wanna see him one last time for today, I'm gonna miss him and you" She frowned

"Aw Melly, it's okay babe you'll see us tomorrow," I cooed, "I know but that's tomorrow," She said with wide eyes

I called Beau

"Hey Lis," He said on the other side

"Hey can me and Mel come over for a bit?" I asked

"I thought she has a play date," He questioned confused

"She wants to see you, I don't know," I laughed

"Oh um yeah come over," He laughed with me

"See you in 5" I said before hanging up

We got to Beau's in a little less then 5 minutes, he didn't live far.

When we got there Mel ran to the door and jumped to press the doorbell.

"Mel," Beau said opening the door and picking her up giving her a tickle of kisses. I smiled watching the two as they had this moment.

"Lis!" Beau said sarcastically making me feel special

 "Beau!" I screamed back sarcastically as he let us in. Everyone one of course surrounded Melanie giving her billions and billions of kisses.

"Theres my favorite niece" Jai said picking Mel up turning her upside down blowing raspberries in her stomach as she laughed and laughed.

"She has your laugh," Beau said nudging me, "No no no my laugh is hideous, Mel's is adorable!" I denied

"Oh come on Lis, you're laugh is not hideous, it's just as adorable as Melanie's," we laughed and stopped as soon as everyone's eyes were set upon us, even Mel's

"Kiss," I heard Skip mutter under his breath and james snicker as they stood and stared at me and Beau.

I ignored their immature remarks.

"Well Mel, We gotta go I promised Emily we would be there at-," I said getting cut off by my phone ringing grabbing my purse from the ground, I answered my phone that said : BigBro😁💙.

"What?" I rudely said through the phone, "Rissa I have bad news," jason said swallowing hard

I gasped, "Not mom," I nodded my head

 "No," He said and I exhaled my worried breath, "I just saw Ben at the supermarket, he was kissing another girl"

My teeth clenched and my eyes watered..
