"Ben," I swallowed hard, "I-I never thought a stupid boys mistake could hurt me so much," I sighed

"I'm so so sorry Larissa," He said grabbing my hand

"I'm sorry too, I can't forgive you right now, I need time to think,"

A whole goddamn month, 4 freaking weeks, passed and me and Ben were still broken up.

I expected him to fight for me, want me back, no. All he ever did was barely make eye contact with me in school, avoid me in the halls, I felt like a total idiot.

"Beau I don't know what to do," I said over the phone

"Make the first move Lis, go talk to him first make things right," Beau said

"Are you crazy?! Girls do not make the first move!"

"Just shut up and come over we need someone to cook us something," He laughed

"I'll be there soon," I rolled my eyes playfully and ended the call

We been at Beau's a lot lately, me and Melanie, we cooked there, cleaned there, did the laundry there, we basically lived there.

"Are you ready?" I said peeking my head into Melanie's room

"Ready Freddy," She said getting off her bed and to my side

"I should have named you Freddy," I laughed, She giggled, "Ew no way Mommy!"

"Yes way Melly!" I said picking her up and going down the stairs

"I'm happy you named me what Aunt Lizzy would've wanted," She smiled making me get goosebumps, I smiled back at her and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"Lets go to daddy's" I nodded

Jason and my mom weren't home, they were at work. I didn't work on Friday's and Sunday's, Saturday's I worked from 8-2.

I put on melanie's shoes and my own and we headed out of the house and walked to Beau's.

"Knock Knock Brooks!" I said yelling for Beau to open the door before paparazzi bombarded us

"Hey," He said opening the door letting us in looking down at his phone worried

"What's wrong?" I ask suddenly concerned

"It's Ari.. She doesn't feel god and she's been trying to reach you but you haven't been texting back," He said

I look at my phone to read Ari's 5 messages

Arii👭💗: Guess no birthday party tonight..

Arii👭💗: I need pregnancy tests😶

Arii👭💗: Don't tell anyone!

Arii👭💗: Only you and Beau know

Arii👭💗: HELLOOO?!

I called her quickly, "Slomski are you serious?!" I screamed through the phone, "I'm late," She cried through the phone

"C'mon don't cry it'll be okay, I have them," I said refferring to pregnancy tests,

"I'm so scared Larissa," She continued to cry, "I can't tell Jai!"

I sighed, "Don't say anything to him I'll get the tests from my house and I'll come," I said calming her down

"Bring Mel and Beau," She sniffled, "I love them and they make me laugh," She chuckled

"We're on our way," I said chuckling and ending the call

"Let's go to Ari's" Beau said grabbing his car keys

"Yay Auntie Ari!" Melanie cheered and me and Beau laughed kissing her on opposite cheeks

"I need the tests from my house can we stop there real quick?" I said putting melanie in the car seat Beau got for her for his car

"No problemo," He said, "Did I leave my jacket there when I came for dinner last week?" He asked

"I think you might have, I probably thought it was Jason's and put it in the hall closet," I laughed

He stopped right in front of the house and I went in really quickly.

I went into my bathroom and grabbed the test and hurriedly went to find Beau's jacket.

I opened the hall closet and saw it there, the black leather jacket a little faded on the sleeves, I took it and threw it over my shoulder, something fell out.

I looked to my side it was a phone number and a open condom package. I looked the paper had the number on it and a name; Kristina. I picked it up and stuck it in his pocket. I picked up the used condom packet and also stuck it in his pocket angrily.

A rush of jealousy went through my body from head to toe. Not paying attention to it I hurried out of the house and into the car and we drove to Ariana's.

Beau had a key so he went opened up for us and Ari was on the couch with red crying eyes.

I rushed and gave her a hug putting the tests aside. She buried her face in my shoulder and hugged me back.

"Now Mel that's a really friendship," Beau said pointing to me and Ari picking up Melanie

"Me and my best friend are like that too daddy," Melanie said and Beau smiled, "I bet,"

Ari took the tests, and we waited.

"How long do you have to wait for this?" Beau said nervously

"I don't know," Ari said burying her face in her hands

"It's 5 minutes then you take another one," I said already knowing of course

"Were you this scared?" Ariana asked looking at me

I nodded, "At least you're 19 and know the dad," I sighed

I saw Beau bite his lip and awkwardly look down, "Sorry Lis,"

I looked over to him, "It was my fault anyway, I knew who you were I just chose not to tell you avoiding any embarrassment,"

The timer went off cutting off anything Beau was about to say.

"Fuck," Ari cursed under her breath, "Please go check for me Lis," She pleaded

I got up and approached the test, It was like I was 14 again and that was my test
again.

I slowly picked it up with my eyes closed just like I did when I was 14, I opened my eyes.

Negative.

I laughed with relief, "It's Negative Ari,"

"Take another one," Beau said, she did. She went into the bathroom and took another one and me and Beau waited

"Wait are those the tests you used for Mel?" He asked, "Aren't they old,"

"No those aren't, I um- had another a scare about a year ago with my ex," I said relieving the terror

"Ex?" He asked, "Yeah, his name was Paul and he was abusive," I said under my breath

His head shot up at me, "Abusive?" He swallowed hard. I nodded, "He hit me only like twice and never hit Mel, he was on drugs but I didn't know and he cheated on me so yeah," I sighed

"I-Is that why you were so sad about Ben?" He asked in a comforting tone

I nodded, "Every boy, every boy walks out on me, first my dad, then my first high school boyfriend Seth, then Paul, Ben and now my brother I think," I said with tears

"Guys.." Ariana swallowed
