She nodded at me but looked at me weirdly, "Okay?"

"Beau was my one night stand"

Ariana looked at me blankly, She couldn't manage to find the right words to say, "Does he know?" She asked

"Yeah" I said, "We actually just talked about it" I sighed in worry.

"Don't be worried" She smiled, "I think being a teen mom.. is.. cool?" She said laughing. I laughed along with her, she tried to make me feel welcome, and didn't fail completely.

"You know" I said finishing my last laugh, "You've really made me feel better about being here as my first day" I smiled at her

"Aw, that's sweet" She said, "I like you, you're cool, different but in a good way"

I smiled at her, then the bell rang.

"Class dismissed" Mr Healy announced, a mob of seniors pushed through the small doorway into the big hallways

"Are you meeting Beau?" Ariana asked, I nodded, "He told me to find him after class"

"There he is" She pointed at him, he was leaning against the wall talking to some other boys who looked like your average high school jocks. "I don't wanna just go up to him, he's talking to those other boys" I said to Ariana, "Oh come on" Ariana said dragging me to Beau and the jocks

"Oh hey Larissa, I see you've met Ariana" He said, "Guys this is Larissa, she's new. Larissa this is Mark, Ben, and Sam" He said point to a boy with Blonde hair, then brown, and a red head.

"Hi" I waved to all 3 boys, they said hi back and one boy who I think was Ben whispered something to Beau. Beau laughed and said, "Totally" and punched him in the arm slightly as he walked away.

It gave me anxiety, yes now I sound like a freak but new school, new people. I sighed and Ariana looked at me knowing what I was thinking.

"What did Ben whisper?" Ariana asked Beau crossing her arms, "It's nothing, just an inside joke" Beau lied, he is a bad liar. "Don't lie to me Brooks" She said seriously

"Chill, It was about this girl in Chemistry" Beau said calming Ariana down

She raised her eyebrows at him, "Okay whatever" She said letting it go. "Come on," He said to me "We're gonna be late for our next class,"

We walked to our next class, Ariana went back to one of her Junior classes, she was a junior she just had some advanced classes with seniors. Me and Beau had Pre Calculus next.

"I actually like Pre Calculus how about you?" He asked as we walked taking what seemed like short cuts so we wouldn't be late. "I mean it's not the worst class out there but not one of my favorite, I'm more of a AP Bio girl" I laughed

"Agh AP Bio is the worst," He laughed, "But we all have our opinions," He said trying to make his accusation reasonable

I laughed along with him, we entered the room the next second, Room 312, Ms. Newman. She wasn't bad at first, but trust me she wasn't one of my favorite fish in the sea of teachers here.

The class was 90% of a drag. The other 10% was enjoyable because Beau kept making me laugh with his friend Ben. Saying how they bet Ms. Newman starred in a 20's porn movie even though this women isn't a day over 35. As the class ended I realized how sweet Beau actually was, and maybe just maybe if he wanted to be involved in Melanie's life, he would be a great dad.
