Juggling an identity ~spiderman~

Chapter 23

"Why should we trust you?" The metal armed man ducked from a punch. 

"If I'm telling you, someone is planning to bomb the city and you're ignoring it, isn't it better to be safe than sorry?!" Spiderman stuck to the wall.

"The most that Norman Osborn has done was take some drugs. Why the hell are you telling me he's going kill hundreds of people just to gain power? And why would he rob a bank!" Captain America threw his shield at the spider, which Peter just caught and threw it back at him, Cap almost not fast enough to dodge it. 

"I don't know alright! I just know, that some bank robbers where wearing his logo. And I found a base that's making these bombs! A scientist told me himself!" He jumped down and webbed up Bucky's arm to a truck. The metal hand just ripped through the webbing and uppercut the boy. 

"So why don't you show us this base? If that's your only proof then why can't you just give us the co-ordinates." Cap ran over to Bucky and they both started handling Spidey at the same time from different angles. Spiderman jumped behind the winter soldier and kicked him in the back hard, making both the grown men crash into each other. 

"I can if you want. The police made the building a crime scene, but they don't believe me when I told them that the little metal balls were bombs! They think they're some kind if gadget to hide drugs. They're not taking the investigation seriously!" He punched Cap a little too hard out of anger. All three men were panting. The fight has been going back and forth for about 30 minutes now. His body ached from the hits he wasn't able to dodge. He had to be at the cafe in 15 minutes. 

"Why don't you just listen to the police then? They clearly know what they're doing." Bucky took out a gun, pointing it at the spider.

"Woah, woah. I thought we agreed on not killing him. Put it away, he's just a kid playing hero" Popsicle calmed his friend down. Reluctantly the soldier put away his gun back into his belt. 

"Ok now that the gun is away... A KID?! I am very offended, you should be ashamed of yourself." The webslinger flipped down from the truck, over Bucky's head, webbed his hands together tight, and landed next to the captain. The vibranium shield almost slammed into the wall-crawler, but instead it hit the parked green car behind him. Peter managed to web Steve's foot onto the ground, giving him enough time to escape. 

"Ugh, get this shit off of me." Bucky grunted, eventually untangling the sticky formula. Steve cut through the web bit by bit to unstick his foot.

Landing softly into an empty alleyway, he smiled to himself proudly for managing to get away from the super soldier duo. He changed into the neat clothes he brought inside his old backpack. He smiled softly at a ginger stray cat that was sitting on a green commercial garbage bin that was watching him curiously. Peter jumped out back into the busy streets of New York, making his way into the coffee shop nearby. Checking his watch, he was only a couple minutes late. Inside, in the far left corner, was sitting Wade. He was wearing a blue checkered shirt and some casual jeans. Peter made his way over, smiling at the handsome sight of his date. 

"Hey, sorry I'm late. The bus was caught in some traffic." Peter hung his jacket on the back of his chair and smiled widely.

"That's alright, you look great by the way" Wade chuckled back, motioning to Peters dark red sweater and blue denim jeans.

They talked for a while before before being ready to finally order. "The third movie was so complicated though, Half blood prince was so much more of a mystery." Wade sipped his Americano.

"But the 6th movie didn't reveal as much about Potter's past as much as the 3rd one did, it also had less villains in it, just made it more interesting." Peter bit into his quakson giggling at their debate.

"Fair point, fair point. BUT, the 6th movie gave Draco more screen time. Which will always be a plus" The taller boy looked over proudly, grinning.

"Draco is a bully, how is it a good thing he had a role in the story line at all!" 

"Malfoy was just misunderstood, come on he clearly just wanted to be friends with Harry. They would've been adorable together."

The boys smiled at each other at their disagreement, laughing. They finished up their drinks and walked out together. Planning a second date gladly, they parted ways, still grinning.

A loud ring buzzed from Peter's phone while he was making his way home. Ned's contact came up on the screen.

"Hi Ned, don't worry I'm alright. The avenger's didn't stand a chance-" 

"Peter! There's just been reports of explosions coming from Brooklyn Bridge! You have to get out there!" 

"Brooklyn Bridge?! Alright I'm on my way, stay in the comms. I'm gonna need you. The goblin struck"
